F1 expansion into the US market makes sense - despite NASCAR not being a thing outside the US it still manages to pull in more than a quarter of F1's global revenues even in bad years. In good years it can easily pull more than half of F1. Gobbling up the NASCAR market would be huge.

Ironic you'd say that - last I checked F1 was even more political than NASCAR. Then again considering that unlike Bubba Wallace, Lewis Hamilton is a 7 time champion, that comes with the territory.

we're getting into territory that might irk dear leader. however I expect a lot of the viewers are existing gachis and it's more about the roommate than the model. there's also the benefit of doubt she's just happy to be "back" (certainly sounded like it) and it's just an average girly expression. from the bits I watched (and could parse with my nonexistent moon) she didn't lean that heavy into it besides some brief after-credits-special.

think we really gotta wait and see how it goes. for me I'm curious if and how much she's gonna keep up the voice, because I assume it must be hell, but her more natural green necro voice wouldn't really fit (although it already came through here and there and didn't bother me as much as I expected). same for the content itself, but then she always did pretty fine on her own, compared to orange dragon which (to me) shined more in interactions and turning other people's content into her own. certainly understand what she means when she talks about "family".

anyway, since I don't want to reheat 20 or so pages: glad she's back, the desk-slamming and getting annoyed about her alarm made me realize I missed those bits more than I thought. same for 3d kson btw, her nenergy-level body expression just hits different than "simple" 2d. never watched her for the GFE stuff, but could appreciate the peak performance at the hustle. say what you want about menhera, but as a vtuber producing her type of content she's damn good. as they say, never stick your dick in never get parasocial with crazy.

Even though I think at the end of the day the Hololive talents getting only roughly a third of the Superchat money is low. 30% YouTube cut is the most obnoxious since all they do is host videos and cause problems while not giving a fuck if issues arise. I feel as fans we really have no reason to complain considering that's probably the reason why we get so many free 3D Lives. Some of which are absolutely incredible and would totally be worth paying for. Which I feel for Cover is a bit of a rock and a hard spot, because I imagine it would be difficult to convince people to then pay for Solo Lives or Fes. Unless they're big enough fans of the person performing.

Plus I imagine Cover helps them out with a lot of the logistics when it comes to figuring out merch and things. Which I imagine for anything outside of a T-shirt or Acrylic has a lot of work involved, plus their managing (for better or for worse).

But speaking of amazing lives:

Today is also Pekora's 3rd anniversary. The list of the credits in the despriction is fucking long, even longer than the high quality anniversary from Aki. I am really curious what she has planned.

With how they've announced the return of Hololive Summer, the name of her live being Summer Party, and a lot of the iconography being beach themed. I wouldn't be surprised if she debuts her Summer Outfit during the stream. Noel has recently gotten a third 3D outfit during her 3D live, so not entirely far-fetched. Though granted she did tease it beforehand.

it has always ran like ass for me no matter the system or browser I am using, connection doesn't matter either. Twitch also frequently breaks addons, plugins, and software I run, it's 25% the reason I stopped using the platform for any kind of viewing.. it's just this time around, it's really decided to be ass with it frequently stalling but sound still playing and causing extreme load times for any browsing I am doing.. and this is the same issue throughout any kind of means I try to access Twitch (mobile, app, on a fucking PS4). Think Twitch just knows I am no longer a fan and their target

I just use it exclusively in an extra chromium browser without much addons (since vivaldi already has quite a few of that stuff built in anyway). still get the occasional ads if I'm not subbed but since I don't do anything else in it there's not much they can parse than my viewing behavior they know already anyway. never had it fucked with any settings or so either (or didn't notice).

Azki hasn't streamed anything on over 2 weeks (vtuber-wise). She had a concert and an original song. Other than that she seems to be doing 1 stream a week and in most cases its karaoke or somewhat music related. Also its usually some sort of collab. Guessing she isnt really allowed to stream solo and she might be doing this to have some freedom and a bit of extra income on the side.

I feel like the whole Kson/Rushia thing has shaken them up a bit. The Holo Summer thing is probably going to happen this year after they said they would probably never do it due to Susan. I also feel like some of the contracts might get reworked. Finally I think management might ease up a bit on some restrictions. Girls will be given more freedom with who to collab with.

It's been talked about earlier in the thread but Cover has a reverse Vshojo deal with the talents. Namely that while Superchats and likely other sources of revenue on YouTube are split between Cover, YouTube, and the Talents, the Merch profits like Birthday and Custom merch goes 100% to the talents themselves with the only caveat being production costs.

The main risk of this is that theirs a possibility of selling merch at a loss but as of this point in time that's basically impossible because merch sells out within minutes so the talents basically make back the money and than much more immediately. Subs and Donations are consistent sources of revenue that don't ever have the risk of losing money but Merch sales can make giant profits all at once at the risk of maybe selling at a loss if something goes very wrong for some reason. It's part of the reason why Mori could afford moving multiple times to progressively better areas on top of buying a house in the States or Ame being able to have her own privately owned 3D office studio.

If the chuuba says anything critical of those watching even in jest or even in a productive way or only specifically aimed at spergs, /vt/ will seethe claiming the chuuba has no respect for their viewers.

I think she has regular listening streams with viewer suggestions on twitch. last stream I caught by chance she mentioned she had over 150 or something songs to go through still, doubt she finished them all that stream. don't really follow schedules tho so you'd need to look up yourself when they happen. besides that she's watame/fauna tier comfy to keep running in the background otherwise.
