Realistically I think it's just a complicated mix of things.Does anyone here disagree that HoloEN aren't very well managed at a corporate level?
Some stuff is logistical and can't be helped (EN/ID 3D woes comes to mind, but also frustrations with game permissions being complicated just by virtue of working for a japanese company and that japanese company as well having to jump through beurocratic japanese hoops which hangs the whole process up)
Fossil/out of touch management (Gura merch not selling with limits, an issue Calli as well encountered with UMG Japan on her album, Stifling collab restrictions preventing stuff like Kiara Pomu collabs etc)
Some stuff just general corporate bullshit, having to keep quiet about some things leaving you unable to answer fans expecations of explanations. Planning something and then it falling through because some behind the scenes checkbox that normally isn't an issue and exists for a reason suddenly is an issue.
Some of it's blameless but frustrating, some of it is managerial issues, some of it is probably mistaken or unrealistic explanation on talents parts. (this is all generally true whether it's EN or JP though I wager some of the logistics become more troublesome between countries, and some of the expectations being misplaced might stem from cultural differences with the company you've chosen to work for but none the less a lot of this stuff is relatively universal even if to different degrees)
I think though that there's a general tendency as a fan and viewer to view things somewhat skewed in favor of the person you're watching, overlooking some details and just heaping the blame entirely upon the unseen "management" which I totally get the inclination, you're watching the girl, you sympathize with them when they tell you they're frustrated most people will naturally when faced with someone upset look to place the blame elsewhere if they're a friend or fan of that person.
I think the reality is often more mundane and boring than "managers are fucking everying up!" though that's certainly likely to be the explanation in some cases. in a lot of others though I wager it's just a lot of red tape and normal shit that's of course still frustrating, but not necessarily an act of incompetence. We just naturally want there to be some "bad guy" to blame and to fight back against, but well "reality is often disappointing"
