The bomber’s pipe hitbox dimensions were originally a little more than double the size of what they should have been. Prior to the fix, it was actually just set to the model’s hitbox due to code oversights in the process of setting the model for the bomber’s pipes. There was a video that explained it:So how large was the projectile?
How can you break something so major and not notice? I guess it's still clear they only have a skeleton crew on tf2. Just with a couple new dedicated members.Oh the update actually broke things too. Soundscapes don't work anymore and payload rollback zones don't work either
And now they fixed it with another update, lol. It's source spaghetti code - likely that no one person understands how the entire codebase works, they only understand portions. They need to just make a TF2:2, alreadyAnd now they fixed it with another update, lol. It's source spaghetti code - likely that no one person understands how the entire codebase works, they only understand portions. So one change has rippling effects
With TF2 in its current state, it would be a massive effort to port the game as it is to Source 2.They need to just make a TF2:2, already

Valve will never go past the number three. We all know the sing and dance number already. They need to just make a TF2:2, already
Then here's me with almost 200 hours as demo and I've found the stock Grenade Launcher to be far more viable in a lot of scenarios that I preferred it even over the Iron Bomber at it's most broken.HAHAHHAHAH DEMOCUCKS BTFO
NOW YOU FAGGOTS HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO AIM
The big problem is maintaining a playerbase to regularly populate the server. The problem with community servers is A) there's no easy "click to join a server" button for them like casual and B) for those who do join them they all get sucked up into some big youtuber's servers or skial since those are where people already are.How many people would actually genuinely be interested/play if I started hosting a tf2 community server with a map rotation?
I'd be interested, but yeah, there'd have to be more then 3 of us to keep it populated. How many people would actually genuinely be interested/play if I started hosting a tf2 community server with a map rotation?
In my experience, plain casual servers will eventually be spread around through word of mouth because the people looking for it are more than you'd think. Especially if sprays are allowed. The big problem is maintaining a playerbase to regularly populate the server. Personally I would like to see a community server without gay mods and without gay shit like forced no random crits.
Been checking in on this project every now and then because it seemed interesting but looking at the previews I'm a bit bewildered at the tone(?) it's going for. It's using the TF2 cast but their personalities don't match. The music doesn't feel like TF2 at all (or HLM for that matter) and is trying to play itself straight with no attempts at humor. GermanPeter says this is an alt timeline of TF2 so in that case why use TF2 in the first place?GermanPeter made another TF2 fangame, last time it was an Undertale game and now this new one is inspired by Hotline Miami.
There was also an NES demake of the game called Brothers in Harms which was made 3 years ago but seems to have only come out now, probably because of the release of the Midnight Mercenaries.
Sadly it isn't a real NES ROM but it also isn't a full game and goes "spooky .exe game" mode at the end so maybe that's for the best.
