Nicobay is a guy who gets commissions of Pokemon art of his OC, a Bayleef. Usually, this wouldn't bat any eyes, except for this: There are 1175 pieces he's either bought or received as gifts. Of these, over 950 are NSFW. 203 are SFW. Over 80% of it is porn.

Some of it is downright hilarious, the other shit is just plain weird, and all of it is creepy.

He's incredibly pervasive in the fandom; a lot of the artists and animators that I associate with either know him directly or have taken commission(s) from him. Conservative estimates on how much he's spent is a joke. He's spent easily in the five figures for his porn.

I think some of his oldest artwork was picked up and animated by a fur named SurfingCharizard, who specialized in taking still images and using Photoshop and all that to make rudimentary GIF's out of them. Well, 2005 is when FurAffinity was established, so there's a high likelihood that Nico has some presence prior to that. I did some rudimentary searching on VCL but couldn't find him there. Prior to FA things like Yahoo Groups and MSN Groups were very popular hotspots for furs, however both of those services are dead these days and no longer accessible as far as I know.

edit: I've done some more digging and was only able to find a single instance where the aforementioned SurfingCharizard and Nicobay coincided. Here is a link to some generic furry smut. It's not dated, but SurfingCharizard is old news and was last active on FA in 2007, so this was likely done sometime in 2005 or 2006. Seems the two were a lot closer than that however, since there's that "charizard fucking bayleaf" Flash video. I mean, that's kind of a really personal and specific thing.

That animator is Hors3 right?
One of the things people should be aware of about the furries is that they are notoriously bad with money. I dont know if that neccesarily means they will sink themselves into debt but they sure will spend money on furry stuff like theres no tommorrow. There are certain furries like Nicobay with money to burn that commission a ton of art. I believe they are referred to as "commission whores." Most commission whores usually have half way decent quality standards (imo). Nicobay seems to have a hodgepodge or art from various sources and while the content itself is a huge turn off for me for the most part the art quality is merely mediocre. But there these gems like this one that he got someone to draw.

As for the amount of commissions that is definately alot. I know another commission whole named Cmdr. Kitsune as been around for fucking ever and prolly still has stuff on VCL but not even his upload count on FA is that high. He also has a bunch of photos on there.

Also @TiredConlanger how did you get the specifics on the exact number of NSFW and SFW arts? Did you just use the search feature or is there some stat counter on FA Im unaware of?

Thats cool. Theres some really decent animators on FA. I didnt not read the description on that art but Im glad he didnt pay for it. He prolly put it in his gallery as a courtesy to the guy but couldnt he have put it in scraps or something?

You know the thing that bugs me the most about these sorts of people, and this is a bit sad as it how much the internet has desensitized me weird fetish art, is that they commission so much. That'd be all well and good but if you like a character so much you want to fuck them why not learn to draw them?

It's not like they are consulting people on designs for a concept of a character. It's a Bayleef in a black speed skating hood with a star on it.

I took a glance through some of his gallery, clicking the more amateur looking pictures, and ot seems like none is his. He isn't making a comic, he just wants to see his 'character' getting fucked. You could google 'bayleef porn' and just photoshop the head and neck black for free. Is it really that important for the bayleef to be fucked by and emporion.


As a note I actually google image searched 'bayleef porn' to find stuff to cement this point but 6/10 of the first post viewable on my tablet when the page loaded are his.

Anyways, I'm not entirely sure this guy counts as a lolcow. I mean, is it egregious spending? Absolutely, especially for something like pokemon porn, but at the same time... well, it's his (her?) money. If they want to spend thousands of dollars on porn, go for it. If they're going into debt, that's their own fault. Unless this guy does something incredibly lulzworthy, I don't think he's really worth watching.
