If I'm reading between the lines correctly, what they're saying is, "America pumping and exporting its own oil won't help things out! Stop telling us that it will!"

This statement makes absolutely no fucking sense. What connection could you possibly infer between oil and inflation? The Fed doesn't (theoretically, but LOL) care about gas prices.

That's how we gotten into current year inflation/recession shitshow in the first place. Because the Fed is driven by wall street and only cares about infinite growth.

When does the "deportation" rhetoric stop and the shooting as an invasion begin? A bunch of bloated illegal dead bodies floating on down the Rio Grande would end this shit in a second.

Sorry, my "humanitarian instincts" are all used up. Send a message, a strong one. If you attempt to enter this country illegally, fuck around and find out.

No more pity, no more here's a bus ticket. Here's a bullet would end this shit like a shriveled dick.

Why don't we just invade the Saudis and take their oil? We do it with everyone else.
The Saudis are our "allies" and more to the point, the only thing keeping the Middle East from becoming an even bigger hell on Earth since the Saudis basically play good cop and use their power and resources to keep everyone else in the region under their thumb and behaving nice. While exporting their troublemakers to other countries to keep them out the royal family's hair.

Invade Saudi Arabia means a battle royal that will end with Iran on top, Israel destroyed, an Islamic Caliphate established over the ENTIRE Middle East, and war upon America and the western world.

God damn it. Yes, it sucks ass she's getting rich off the US taxpayer, but we need some more manufacturing here and not in Taiwan or worse, China. Sadly that's just how shit goes when you're dealing with Congress. A Congressman will never do the right thing except by accident or bribery, after all.
Semiconductor fabrication and design are one of those fields where the investments are so large and take so long to realize that manufacturers and governments have interests that often strategically align.

Nvidia's development of general purpose AI chips following the maturation of drivers for AI on GPUs suggests a potential transformation in the market for imaging, sensors, and a variety of applications from manufacturing to defense. Having so much of the world economy tied up in one place with the TSMC fabs is a crisis waiting to happen. I don't like Pelosi but I'd rather see an EUV fab on American soil.

That's exactly my point. Its as much a bribe to Nvidia as it is Pelosi, but dammit, we need that shit.

TSMC fabs are currently being built in the states.

I guess here's where my confusion really lies.

How are they supposed to keep them from just taking what they want? It really doesn't matter if they're not supposed to. They're doing away with responsibility, morals, and social debts. If they have all the fire power, what's keeping them in line? Another private guard company? Then what about that one?

Mercenary companies used to be a thing, yeah. And when the lord couldn't pay up or was weak, they just took shit, didn't they?
First off, it's a bullshit pipe dream. That out of the way, you keep people honest with a panopticon. You want to steal, well, you are now a non-person. Doors won't open for you. Faucets won't turn on. Everyone around you gets a message that you are UNMUTUAL. Until you turn yourself over for reeducation.

That's considered a feature, not a bug.

Mercenaries will be undisciplined enough to be a menace no matter where they are which sounds like a problem until you realize that it gives you a pretext to replace them whenever you find it politically most advantageous.

You could even have another mercenary company just wipe out your old one if they ever get too troublesome and that requires a lot of "accidental" helicopter crashes in the actual military.

The powers that be really are delusional on what technology can do and how anything works, huh?

Yes. Fab21 in Arizona has a move in date March 2023 but they'll be doing cutting edge 5nm stuff for Apple and others. The general purpose embedded AI chips Nvidia are angling for don't need anything quite so bleeding edge. Merely expanding the facilities there could cause logistical problems especially with water availability. A dedicated 8nm or larger facility elsewhere to supply automakers and other industrial clients could make good economic sense.

Fabs (and houses) use less water than farms, so the more urban and industrial sprawl in Arizona, the less water the state uses. Also, if California stopped stealing all the water, Arizona and the other Colorado River states wouldn't even need to worry about water conservation.

There are a lot of farms near Phoenix despite it being in the middle of the desert:

It’s a natural consequence of midwit retards who worship science as a religion. People who know jack shit about science think that it is capable of just about anything, when in reality applied science is all about identifying the theoretical maximum limit and being really happy if you manage to hit even 50% of that.

Ok I had intentionally not picked sides in the Slav Slap Fight, but I have now landed firmly on Team Putler, and I hope he doesn’t just win, but humiliates the ghouls pushing this.
Welcome aboard!
That's assuming the west doesn't tell ukraine to pull a stupid and get itself bombed into a Big crater.
Or maybe, that's their plan all along 🤔
The west will gradually pull support for Ukraine while setting up for a guerilla war against the Russians.
How old is that picture of Soros? I thought he looked significantly more "melted" then that.
But would that really be so bad?
I figure the war on America is coming, as is the war on Israel but staving that off for a few more years may be worth it.
