I thought i'd be watching DSP into my 40s but its just been so fucking dry lately, at this point I think anything short of a youtube/paypal ban feels like a nothingburger

I am pretty much pro messing with Phil, but at first glance, the guy fucking with wings comes across like a cringe white knight. If and when Phil bites the dust I'd prefer it to be a bit more legit and not because some asshole decided to blackmail him.

He won't be stopped by bans or strikes. He isn't going anywhere in the next 10 years unless he bends over and kicks the bucket (rainbow emoji). If he get banned from YouTube, he'll go back to Twitch and "rebuild" for 2-3 more years, same story as now. Gets banned on Twitch - he's gonna make a new YouTube channel, and so on endlessly.

DSP isn't going away. He's put almost every responsibility he can about his own life on his fans shoulders. He isn't able to physically exist without the money and attention coming from the internet. He is fully aware that if you strip away the internet side of his life, he is nothing, owns nothing, and will always be nothing. He'll be clawing and snorting his way through life until the day he dies and he will be on the internet for sure.

He's fundamentally dependent on everyone else, and if he goes off the internet, he'll have to depend on the person closest to him IRL which is Kat. And she's about as useless as he is. And if he starts to rely on Kat 100%, a divorce is imminent. Phil is a person who wears people down, and Kat will for sure be looking for the next soulmate.

I'd argue that even he knows that the only value he's ever created is that shit youtube channel and internet clout, and he'll be hanging onto it until his dying breath.

And finally, look at it from the bright side - we are yet to see the pinnacle in DSP lolcow content. He's reached the point where he's unbearable to sit through even by the restreamers, he's going through the funniest midlife crisis I've ever seen, he's becoming weaker and devolving into a worthless ghoul with every day looking worse, loses his temper more often than ever, and for the smallest of reasons. He's completely lost the plot and living in his bizarro delusional world where he's liked and a good content creator. He's putting less and less effort and still degrading himself for the same amount of money.

Any way you look at it - there's no light at the end of the tunnel. He isn't ever "winning", he has "lost" a long, long time ago, and we get to see his daily Ls in real time.

Edit: also rebuilding on Youtube should his main channel get axed? He could go back to KOGaming as he has enough subs to monetize it. should that get axed there is his vlogging channel (retired as of this year). If he had to start from scratch though: Yikes. He would need to get the required stats for monetization (fairly easy) but his reach would be even lower then before

I recently bought a prebuilt PC with an RTX 3060 Ti, a Ryzen 7 5700G and 16GB DDR4 RAM.
An hour ago I played Cyberpunk 2077 on the "Raytracing Ultra" preset on my 3440x1440 monitor and it ran flawlessly. (Yes thanks to DLSS and GSYNC, but my point still stands.)
This PC cost me 1,279€.

He could literally buy this PC right now and be set for life.

I don’t even think FF is carrying because of the game, some dent just decided to go rubber hammer to their own head and tip him all their allowance money. I remember hearing them tip AGAINST themselves in order to get the highest tip for the day. He’s been going big on his “fundraiser” goals for years now. On the face of it it’s not a bad strategy; ask for a bigger amount than you strictly need. If you get it, great. If not you still got X dollars. The issue lies in transparency - if Jerry Lewis is hosting a telethon benefitting the MDA with a goal of $100k, it isn’t as though the money doesn’t go to sick kids if they only raise $75k. With Phil that’s not the case; he’ll set a goal of say $2k, fall short with maybe close to $1k, and act like it’s no big deal…until the next day, when he uses missing the goal as a reason to beg twice as hard.

He obfuscates so much on purpose, which is how I know he’s at least not as stupid as his supporters. He will absolutely flimflam things in such a way where he gets exactly what he planned on getting anyway, whether or not he’s made it public what he actually intends to buy.

What's the over/under on how long before Phil disables comments on Instagram? TBH I'm kinda surprised he hasn't done so already. I guess he's content with deleting comments he doesn't like, for now at least. Either that or he just doesn't know you can turn off commenting, which wouldn't shock me since he has absolutely no idea how to use IG.

This is probably a schtick I see DSP doing, but long out the beef between him and Twitch until he actually comes begging on his hands and knees to be allowed partnership, or that he knows what he said when Philsanigger was blurted that Twitch is watching him on YT, as it sounds, there are people who will watch their business or social life to see if they are trustworthy

Nuhuh um in reality okay, what needs to happen is thus, okay um Phil needs to get what he's complained and bitched about for years now. Phil's ability to time/react is a paradox to me. He has the timing/rythm to play fighting games decently enough; but when watching his FF7 stream earlier today; he could barely get a YEAH! rating with Tifa's Limit Breaks; and I don't mean he got close and got a MISS. I mean he let the YEAH!/MISS go by and got the normal HIT rating. They're not randomized, they're literally the same across the board; so if you can one-two-three-hit, you should be able to get it... but he couldn't, he was all over the place. It's like his sense to time/anticipate only comes up at certain times. Now apply that to simple shit like running/jumping and it's easy to understand why he's shit.

Its obvious he never really played any other video games as a kid or young adult so he doesn't have the muscle memory or skills down for anything else.

Also even with fighting games I think phil is basically just playing by himself independent of what the opponent is doing instead of actually reacting to them, if that makes any sense. Like phil knows how to push the buttons in the right order and timing to do moves and combos so he just spams them out regardless of what the other player is doing. You can tell how angry he gets when the other guy does something phil wasn't expecting because phil just expects every other player to use the same patterns he knows how to play against and gets thrown off when someone does something he has to respond differently to. Its why he never gets anywhere with new fighting games, he doesn't actually really know how to play them that well.

And the only fighting game he's decent at is Super Turbo, so yeah it's a good explanation of that, him "responding" to what the other player is doing is pure muscle memory rather than him doing any mind games or putting even an ounce of thought into it. That's also why he's only really decent in that one game. Usually if you're good at one fighting game your skill carries over to other fighting games, especially if they're similar, but not with Phil. He's absolutely terrible in every other fighting game he's tried because he only carries over knowing how to do a DP motion and how charge moves work, but not how the games are actually played. He just defies common sense.
