This would only result in Kim having unpaid medical bills. There's no prosecution or anything for that so bills go to gubmint. They might get a reduced payout but it's better than zero.
Sadly they wont garnish his ssdi, they should. Shes costing the state thousands. I cant imagine how much shes wasted in hospitals.
While I agree, the response would be "the state is taking away that poor baby's money" or some such thing. They should make her pick up trash on the highway once a week or something. Preferably being overseen by a shotgun.

I’m not sure about state to state, but in my state, if you are on any type of government assistance for your child they are supposed to monitor that you are going to and keeping regular appointments for your child. It would be a necessity that he had a primary care physician in order for him to continue receiving assistance and no red flags be raised. However, I’m sure they drop the ball on that shit regularly.
That would actually be a good thing everywhere should implement, regular doctor appointments yearly to receive benefits.
in my state the state paid insurance offers rewards like gift cards for going to checkups/well child visits, you just have to create a login online through the website. Thought that was kind of cool. It honestly might be something offered through private insurances as well!
