The whole reason i limited myself to TCRF is because of how fucking massive that would be. RemyWiki is a site dedicated to detailing literaly everything about not just DDR, but BMIIDX, Pop'n'Music, and any other Konami-related music game, even the newer ones I'm not at all familiar with like juBeat and Sound Voltex. It's not just the games themselves, but they catalogue each and every song from all the games. They recently closed site registrations without giving a specific reason, which is odd considering they weren't strict regarding anyone being able to join and contribute. The wiki itself seems to be more BMIIDX focused since most of the contributors are from sites like Solid State Squad but i also know that a few people from Zenius-I-Vanisher have also contributed to it. I'm more familiar with ZIV though, I know the forums went to shit with the heavy word/tone policing around the time (and possibly before) Brexit happened, I wouldn't be surprised if it's SJW/Troon riddled to this day.

Being close friends with wack0, he had access to pretty much everything he stole from the servers, he managed to convince Helix Chamber and Team Spaceworld (HC & TSW for short) to find things in the Pokéthon ROM "accidentally" (only person who was probably aware of what in reality was going on was RacieB, since they are also close friends), he did this multiple times managing to fool everyone, until the actual roms were leaked on /vp/, then he stopped doing it due to getting doxxed and people finding out he's a footfag.

This is something i couldn't properly convey in the OP, but Rusty is a long time artist, has been practicing the craft for over 20 years now. The earliest for sure example i can point to is a webcomic he worked on called Wakkie comix (Archive).

Now i'm not one for critique normally, but it really doesn't seem like he's improved much in those 20 years. Linework is better for sure, but... well you can judge for yourself in a bit. Yeah, I'll introduce the thread to the /ppg/ saga on this post, the lore around it is big and overlaps with other communities.
This is a lenghty post well worth the read.

Pokemon Protos General - /ppg/:​

Back in 2018-2019 when the hack was happening and some of the information was coming out, threads started appearing on /vp/ board for discussion about them, mostly focused on the Gold & Silver Spaceworld prototypes, along with the Pokéthon and others smaller things, back then the discussion was slow, due to lack of exposure from other parties and an air of doubt from these leaks (fakemons are a thing), this continued until 2020 where more Pokémon leaks started to come out, from unknown sources, that turned out to be legitimate, this was the start of multiple threads with 500+ posts on each, at some point in thread #10, the OP started to include a discord link with an invitation to a server carrying the same name, multiple anons and outsiders started to join the server, at first it had a slow growth but the more leaks started to spread, the bigger the server grew, at some point it was close to 6k+ users total with multiple channels dedicated to the leaks, it even had activity from people working on SM64 Win10 version, unfortunately the server was doomed from the start due to the main admin being a useless retard:

Having 6000+ members on a single open server may or may not be a good idea, after all a bunch of underages can start showing up, trolls, etc, but even then, it was tolerable, issues started to begin when he showed up though (only showing up every 3 months or so). Even Hugette Hikari had fun in there Frigoposting.


The cracks in the server began when a certain user called Rob64 started to post this pic multiple times:

This picture bothered Vash a lot, due to the server rules of "no NSFW" to keep things on focus, research of the files that were being leaked. Being also afraid of underaged users coming across it, not only that, but certain people from the media/youtubers were inside the server as well, for him, opinions about being a mod/admin are serious business:



Taken from one of the websites he moderates. No wonder those sites die with him being in charge.

Behind the scenes though, some journos started getting in contact with him, he held talks with some of them, and some articles started appearing with info about the leaks, the most direct one that can be pointed to him, is from an italian website which you can read here (notice the sources for the article) it is unclear if any other pages came up which directly cites /ppg/ discord as a source, but safe to say maybe other webpages just took the info from there and claimed it as their own.
At some point in 2020, he launches new merch in his Redbubble store, which uses the sprite of the pokémon Larvitar in the prototype stage, the store links are dead, but thankfully Discord still has the previews of some of the merch he started to sell back then:

It is not known how much money he got from interviews or the store during this time, he only dropped the link in a channel focused on pictures/videos other users made and didn't announce it to the whole server.

The beginning of the end, the fall of /ppg/ and it's offshoots:

He reaches a breaking point sometime around aug-sep of 2020, and orders the mods to start banning underaged users, trolls and any "unlikable people" who may bother him or other users in the server, and he modifies the server rules as well:



Now i must mention the name of some of the most active mods in that server, so the next images can be understood more:

1. Nintendo's Robot/Obamastyle, Hexallyon (and an individual called Zumilsawhat which was just a helper), they are okay people whom most of the active users agreed were the better mods in /ppg/
2. Evilsnow, Renn (goblino troon who had no power whatsoever but talked with Vash and Evilsnow) , they are the semen slurpers of Vash

Mods start doing his job supposedly, although the first 3 are reluctant about doing it, Hexallyon downright tells Vash he won't ban anyone due to it being a bad idea. Vash closes down invites for some time to avoid new people and alts joining.

Users start getting banned left and right for no reason, and arguments start to build up, there are genuinely too many names to list that got axed from the server for multiple reasons, first one to fall was Rob64 himself due to spamming the footpussy pic, others followed in his steps and got banned eventually, this starts to reach a climax at the end of 2020 & beginning of 2021, an unofficial /ppg2/ discord server is created for "refugees" (people that Vash banned from the server)

Obamastyle steps down from mod but stays in the server due to him categorizing and uploading files to MEGA so they can be distributed properly. Not before he unbans absolutely everyone who has been banned previously from the server, another powertrip ensues.

Things calmed down for some time, due to a bunch of people getting banned, and Vash constantly using the cooldown feature on the server, however, in February of 2021, a random anon comes and posts this on /ppg2/:

This was the tipping point for the users who got banned by Vash, So they decide to start looking for info about him, this leads to events on March 29-30 where another meltdown happens with multiple cooldowns inside the server:

Unfortunately the next part has few screencaps, but there are multiple eyewitnesses of what comes next, on March 30 on the mod channel, Hexallyon is discussing with Vash about the situation of the $700 (which turned out to be fake), telling him to calm down, unfortunately it did not work, and vash proceeds to block file uploads, then pings the entire server and posts this:

What could go wrong by pinging 3k users telling them that i got doxxed.


Past this point it's hard to find more screencaps, but from what people mention, more people started to mock him, he then enables another cooldown serverwide, this cooldown did not affect mods and helpers, so they kept talking like nothing happened, Hexallyon proceeds to call him a schizo again in #general and calls the other mods cringe for talking while no one else could. Hexallyon is banned from the server by Vash after this, and the server goes quiet, he joins /ppg6/ at this point. Vash decides to remove posts on the server, wiping 4hrs of info in there.

Past this point, /ppg/ truly dies, with very few posts going per day (aproximately 50 or 60 per day, in comparison of 5000+ per day on /ppg6/)

On july 13 of 2021, a leak was posted on /vp/ which was dubbed "the arabic gigaleak", it included some unreleased KFC games along with some other media from UAE, one of the anons drops some interesting information about it:

Meanwhile on RGD's server, Evilsnow is trying to cover up for Vash, unfortunately he slips and mentions Hexallyon, which leads to the latter find out he had an alt in /ppg6/, this account is locked to a single channel on that server.

A troll leak? probably, but a leak nonetheless, the files were real, that's what matters right?.

And so it ends the /ppg1/ saga, a server that was one of the best for prototype discussion, ruined by an italian with a big ego and mods that had no clue in how to deal with 4chan users.

And the stuff that happened with PPG was hilarious, if not, frustrating. Everyone involved in video game archival really is super autistic, especially when Vash himself is the pinnacle of being a janitor. Only in it for clout and power, nothing else repels a janitor more than being referred to as what they are - a janitor. I want to talk about the Earthbound 64 server, but there's not much substance to them that I'm aware of.

Ah, it's been days since the move and i've been procrastinatin'. Guess i can throw a bit of a short story out there.

Tyler Mcvicker's adventures in Beytah world

First, a little bit of a recap, for those who don't know, (although he has a thread on this site...) Tyler Mcvicker is a "Journalist" and obsessed Valve fanatic. Naturally the combination of the two has lead him down a very destructive path, destroying TF2 mods that refuse to bend to his will, harassing the Doritos Pope for a copy of the Half Life Alpha until Geoff stopped taking the clown's calls and secretly hoarding TF2 source code until one of his tranny friends got crossed over some dumb shit and leaked everything, hell, he may even be in-part responsible for the death the game entirely, but enough of the SPECULATION(badumtiss).

This is not much of a grand tale i suppose, but nonetheless the Pokemon leaks of 2020 were a magical time for the prototype community, with quite a few offshoots started for the express purpose of announcing and discussing said leaks. One of these was the SSNC, or Super Secret Nintendo Club. It is a daycare center a TCRF user started as a favor to staff, effectively serving to contain what they saw as ungrateful manchildren and kids, and leaving the core community to sperg out about Sonic, MLP, and DBZ in peace. Tyler at that point had been trying to veer away from the supple teat of Valve, likely because they're not too fond of him, for reasons i'm sure you can imagine. So when this server was created, guess who at ground floor?

Das rite mayne. He was so fast he was actually the first poster on the channel. However like in bed with electra, he was fast, but not a particularly GOOD poster, however. Most of his posts consist of such things as begging for roles, asking inane questions like "Where is that 12 tb figure from?", or short inane comments like "wow".


It was to the point where he actually became a bit of a pest to the people there.

I could not find any evidence that any of the information obtained through the oh-so-trustworthy source of Luigiblood and friends was ever used on a video essay. His goal being in that server was to scrape it for any possible information, but it seems as if his youtube channel never really pivoted away from Valve like he wanted to. However, it seems as if he took that information and ran off with it to make an article, which appears to completely misrepresent everything the people in that server told him about

To which Luigiblood had this to say:


In the end his thirst for monetizable information was cut short by the SSNC staff(Mostly just TCRF and HP alumni, basically anyone the server owner respected for whatever reason, really.) because he tried to embellish his standing in the server.

Whatever that video might've been, it doesn't appear to be on any of Mcvicker's channels still. It might have been on a stream.

Yeah, that's Scarred Sun. She was the one who he was talking to and wound up leaking the chat. During the last half of 2011, Tweaker's behavior started being markedly changed: he started featuring more "cub" pornography on his furry art sites, he would talk more about shotacon, he would brag about his Tor use, he would go into our Skype chats and start to defend child molestation. I'll admit that I wasn't super-comfortable with this, but I do believe that people have the right to say things that I don't agree with, and as a weird a Devil's advocate position as defending child molestors may be, I'm willing to let that go. However, it did set a precedent of odd behavior around children and sexuality.

I'm really fucking upset to see Tweaker still has an online presence. It's been a very long time since I thought of this fuck but he's one of the few online retards I genuinely fucking hate. He was always a massive prick to everyone not in his special little in group (Sonic Retro has/had a real pretentiousness problem but Tweaker was one of the worst) and to know that he diddled his own fucking sister (and was fucking GLEEFUL ABOUT IT) is enraging.
