Curious as to what 2chan thought of Kson and Mikeneko joining Vshojo was. Sadly I cant read Japanese
I went and skimmed a couple threads (one specific to Mikeneko, and one specific to Vshojo)
Some talk about Mike's yab earlier but it was quickly noted that "overseas companies don't restrict the soul as much" (soul in this context generally being used to talk about vtubers actual identity) beyond that a lot of talk just about what the other gen3 girls were up do while Mike's karaoke stream was going on some people saying the other gen3 girls don't care about her anymore.
Skimming the main Vshojo thread, a lot of confusion about overseas companies in general to the point that people were speculating Vshojo might be able to work closely with Amazon, because Twitch founder founded Vshojo, and Amazon owns twitch. Also wondering if there's some conflict of interest in twitch founders trying to pull users to twitch when the guy that founded vshojo also helped start twitch.
a bunch of benign discussion about how they should refer to the company (japanese and their autistic focus on abbreviations) some people also making fun of the name for the virgin connotations. When talking about the company a few common things get mentioned the posters there seem generally interested but want more JP members.
They aren't sure how the company will fare, but also think vshojo doing well could influence other companies to reevaluate the power dynamic around character ownership and enforced identity hiding thinking the current dynamic places too much power in the companies hands and that it could be good to shift some of that power toward the talents.
Probably the biggest was the talk of wanting more JP talents but being unsure of what pool to recruit from because people like KSon are the exception not the rule.
There's probably a lot more and I won't make any claims that this is the entire sentiment on that side of things, like I said I just skimmed 2 threads, but that was at least a cursory glance.
