If we're talking about normal, heterosexual women I would guess many who say they support transbians do genuinely support them in the loose, indefinite way women have been found to be disproportionately tolerant of differences (even if they have little direct experience with the people they're advocating for). I'd say that, on the balance of things, that's a decent and salutary impulse since tolerance can effectively lay the stable foundations for peace and all the good things peaceful societies enjoy and can act as a bulwark against despotic overreach by authorities who want to publicly malign some group in order to violate their individual liberties. But sometimes reflexive, unconditional tolerance isn't possible and isn't quite the right path to take even if it were possible.

If we're talking about lesbians I'd guess it's a bit more mixed on the transbians issue.
