For anyone unfamiliar, the tube in her mom's arm is a PICC line. It is essentially an IV that goes directly to the heart. With a PICC line, you have to be extremely sterile. You have to wipe everything with alcohol swabs constantly. You have to wear a mask so you do not breathe any germs onto it, and gloves are not enough unless the gloves are sterile. There is no such thing as too careful, because mistakes are deadly.

Kim is putting her filthy mouth germs on the syringe, which will be injected into the line. She is mainlining hundreds of different bacteria species into her mom's heart, where they will be pumped throughout her entire body. She's already on IV antibiotics, so there's also a good chance that she can brew up some drug-resistant sepsis.

Kim’s munchie ass is back at it again today! This time is Aidean. She’s saying he has “been sick” since yesterday.

We all just saw her lives from yesterday where he was running around seeming to be just fine.

There is literally no reason to be taking him (during the weekday when his pediatrician is open) to a hospital. Complaining of shit like “why is he not gaining weight”, because you don’t fucking take care of him Kim! You’re not feeding him regularly!! And of course her fucking ass called an ambulance, as a munchie mom does.

My heart hurts for the kid, I can’t help it. He can’t escape her.

in my state the state paid insurance offers rewards like gift cards for going to checkups/well child visits, you just have to create a login online through the website. Thought that was kind of cool. It honestly might be something offered through private insurances as well!

I understand your sentiment, but the fact that the state has to reward people already receiving free insurance for doing the bare minimum is so depressing.

(I could be wrong, I live in a state with VERY generous Medicaid expansion and I'm Native. Even when I have work-related health insurance the government picks up any copays/deductibles.)

I assume all the characters in this thread have Medicaid not private insurance, and yes on Medicaid children are almost always covered (even if parents are denied) for anything medical, $0 copay and $0 script if it’s covered by Medicaid.

All of her ER visits are free too thanks to Medicaid but whatever insurance provider she has can start bouncing her bills back and refusing to cover them.
Not like Kim has a thought go through her head about her credit score long term, but the ER visits could eventually come back to bite her if she hits a cap or something.

Everything with Aiden is covered, she can even schedule transportation ahead of time (they always have a problem with the ahead of the time) through her insurance to take them to his appointments, she doesn’t have to scare up a ride into taking them.

She has no excuse, she’s a filthy narcissistic low effort person and parent and Aiden deserves better.
Hell, any child deserves better than that.

Having worked in A&E I’m pretty sure the staff patiently assume she has a chromosomal abnormality until her records prove she’s just a munchie (reasonable given her face). That's the type they suggest mine is although it came on after gestational diabetes at an advanced age. I just take care of myself.

Whatever type he has, she needs to get off her ass and set a schedule for him. Sleep at night, eat regular balanced meals and healthy snacks. Kim's idea of breakfast is tossing him a Pop tart when he wakes up at noon.
Juvenile diabetes requires careful monitoring and a strict schedule of medication. This concerns me.

Although Linda has custody, she's not doing so great what with a Picc line and all. There's only so much she can do when she has to rely on Kim.

I am optimistic that he can be potty trained soon. I think his wetting himself could have been part of the constant urge and need to urinate frequently with uncontrolled diabetes. He probably couldn't hold it in,poor kid.

I do hope that Kim is on a list somewhere as a suspected Munchie. Also,now that the boy has a chronic disease, I'm hoping any missed appointments are reported!
