Biden apparently is going to attempt to force clean energy bills. Make tax cuts for wind and solar energy. Prevent oil refineries from opening. None of this will probably stick. One article was funny cause it talked about how this could favor the dems as it shows a dedication for fighting climate change. I think we've posted polls showing climate change being a top priority for 1% of the population.

It's also funny to see people get so butthurt cause Manchin has become super important. I cannot think of a more depressing state than west Virginia, and that senator has the gov by the balls and is making so many dems shriek about it.

Its very odd that this suddenly is a top issue. I remember years ago when al gores "an inconvient truth" came out and people would be like "its been so cold these winters, how can global warming exist?!!" And everyone would laugh and be like "it's trends! You can't look at one years data." Now we can't use the same logic and say "yeah it's probably just a hot summer" THIS time, it's not just a yearly change, the world's literally about to blow up. Lucky I feel like the dems will do a "mission accomplished" around the end of fall as the temperatures magically start lowering.

I've personally speculated that ever since 2008, TPTB have been doing everything in their power to prevent a full-on global economic holocaust not seen since 1929. They could only contain the crash in 2008 to a recession level catastrophe, and have spent the last 14 years doing their damnest to slow down the worst aspects of the impending global depression/holocaust that can't be stayed only slowed down.

And that in 2030, all of the tricks being used to prop up the economy will finally run out and stop working and NOTHING will stop the global economy from crashing with no survivors and plunge us into a new Great Depression. And that the elites are doing everything in their power to make sure they and they alone are secured and protected and their power base protected as well, from the hellfire that comes with a global depression as far as cashing out and neutering the masses so they can't hurt the elites.

I think when we start seeing “MAP” characters in movies or tv shows as misunderstood and/or in a positive light is the moment any “NO, ITS YOU!” Or “NO....BUT AKTUALLY” sidestepping smokescreen disappears and the true colors are shown.

Richard Baris has insinuated a couple of times that Kari Lake would be the next Governor of Arizona. Kari Lake a couple of days ago she tweeted out "I hope I can put this steel to good use" with a picture of the steel used for the border wall. Richard Baris tweeted out "You will get that chance." I don't put stock in polls all that much but Richard Baris has nailed the last several election cycles, and he was dead on when it came to Virginia, at a time where very few people had the balls to show Youngkin leading and Baris polled his victory to 1/10th of a point IIRC.

Do I really believe the Secret Service on this? Not really, but it's a competent enough lie and could be corroborated if they did the same things in 2009 and 2017. Agree- the nogs are the party’s meal ticket, have been for decades, and they can’t afford to lose them. Easy to keep uneducated and in poverty (thanks to their own failed policies), with gibs providing incentive to vote blue. It’s a constant, shitty, and (sadly) reliable cycle. Let’s also not discount that crying racism at the republicans and invoking racial history is a quite powerful way to yank at the leash. Their biggest assets are (first and foremost) the nogs, followed by AWFLs. While important for pandering, the rainbow brigade lacks the numbers that the aforementioned two groups have.

I think it’s safe to say that the DNC will swiftly act to quash anything that jeopardizes the nog voting bloc. If they find that their pro-pedo/-troon/-🏳️‍🌈 policies are turning off the nogs (black men will turn away before black women), they’ll drop the rainbow brigade like a hot potato. It doesn’t look like they’re ready to do that yet, since they’ve really only started saying the quiet part aloud recently- it’ll take some time for the resentment to really build to where this can be revisited.

I might be deserving of some serious :optimistic: here, but I continue to believe that there are hidden forces with more common sense in the DNC that will forcibly intervene and order a change of course the moment there are rumblings of an overt pro-pedophilia trajectory. Trooning out kids could (at best) be written off as “medical experimentation for the greater good”- they’ll fight HARD to distance themselves from “Faggots/troons are literally coming for your children to recruit them.” But once they go down the route where they start reacting to pederasty and those who engage in it with anything less than pure contempt, they’ve irredeemably passed the point of no return, and no amount of damage control will save them from forever wearing that shame. Will they have the guts to tell the rainbow brigade to fuck all the way off when this occurs? Tough to say, considering how scared they are of pissing them off.

Not exactly, but if they HAD managed to get the rigging locked in like they wanted, you would have seen some amusing changes in the pandering quotients. That is how they typically do things, but using TV and Movies to social engineer the US is on it's way out, partially because China now has too much influence. That's one of the major reasons why GamerGate happened -- the people wanting to social engineer the younger generations (correctly) discerned that they would need to start doing so through vidya to reach kids. Adrianne Shaw's research, which she did two papers with the exact opposite conclusion on, was what inspired in part the "Gamers are Dead" articles. (And yes, one set of research data, two separate completely contradicting conclusions? One being the exact conclusion that fits her activism? Shaw is a big fat lesbian marxist, how can you tell?)

That is to say, don't expect MAP characters in movies or tv shows, not likely. I'd instead start expecting to see sexualized minors in vidya, or teenage / adult relationships being played up for sympathetic drama. A student with her teacher, for example, or a 18 year old being arrested for dating a 17 year old to get the "it's complicated and the adult is the victim of an unjust society" angle in people's minds.
