Probably in a month or two but Cover isn't in mortal danger just because the nijis shat out another gen, just like the nijis didn't release theirs because of tempshit, it's just a coincidence. Summer is cover's preferred time for EN gens and as scuttle pointed out niji was overdue for another wave so it makes sense.

The only unfortunate part is that people are gonna (already are) tribalfag and numberfag like there's no tomorrow with this, which is fucking unbearable.

No doubt. I'm probably still going to watch more of Tempus because I have a soft spot for HoloEN and I consume a lot of Holo content. My bitterness is probably coming from a feeling that Tempus are getting done dirty and have an uphill battle even before they debut through circumstances they have no say over.

coming as someone who was on the other direction of that people could have gotten similarly bitter or diheartened in the early days of NijiEN when they just weren't landing the traction that HoloEN did but having watched Pomu and Elira since debut I just kind of looked at their past lives and was like "who cares they're a lot better off now" rather than constantly comparing them to holos. Was just nice to see a couple chuubas here were friends as indies break into the big leagues together like Pomu and Elira and thrive.

That being said the Tempus designs have kind of grown on me a bit more since their announcement, especially Axel who I think looks 100x better once the mask is off. magni is the weakest of the bunch but I don't think it's as bad as people are saying, just not great either. The hand thing seems to be doing well for him in fanart and animations already though. beyond that I just got over the wide face thing by remembering how doofy some of Douman's art looks to me as well, wide face and big hands as well.

New Nijis I like the Enchantress and the purple and gold guy's designs. both are strong to me but I'm pretty neutral and indifferent on the others. they're fine but just don't really hit my appeals.

Wow 10 debuts in a weekend looking forward to it I like the girls in Iluna they have appealing designs love me a chuuni and now Ninas Mommy title is being challenged

If they do that is going to be a repetition of Uproar they are in a position that they can just outright deploy EN3 without fucking the Stars brand more than it already is, they CAN and probably will do it in a couple of months like it happened with gen 5 and 6

But the question is are they going to break tradition? normally mainline Holos (EN and JP) always debut without having Stars debuts nearby, are they going to ACCELERATE and fill EN3 and JP7 in less than a year?
 
The voice teasers are terrible and cringey, but that's par for the course now. All their desgins look pretty nice and their twitter interactions show that they've been toghter for a while so lets hope the group dynamic isn't awkward.

It's amusing that if Ames the braptuber didn't keep fucking off for a few months and coming back with a different model, she could've had her own thread cult like /pyon/. Then there'd be three thread cults now: /pyon/, Gura but an actual child edition, and the braptuber.

I like the first girl with the colorful hair, i concur that the designs are nicer than the holostars but only that girl stood out to me honestly.

that didn't happen this , just a temp mute after a dumb remark to a mod and a warning for "harassment". Because somehow DMing a mod a few times critical questions is harassment (I didn't even insult the guy). This particular mod and me have had problems recently and they don't seems to like me; plus in a bad mood. I just hope I can get things worked out with the dude

Holo X was supposed to come a lot sooner (it is a mix of 5 overflow and internal scouting) so there won't be any future JP gens for awhile.
