That's sort of what I meant by the GOP favoring DeSantis and why I didn't say republican voters did. When referring to the voter base I try to say Republicans instead since they're the voters versus the GOP who are the bureaucrats and lifetime politicians. Like McConnell is part of the GOP who would likely favor DeSantis over Trump.

I don't ever hear people refer to Republican voters as GOP so I feel like this is appropriate phrasing.
The people that would be pushing the astroturfed Desantis idea would be what normies call RINO's or the alt-right used to call cucks. Basically, the GOP old guard. There isn't many of them left and they don't have as much power with the republican voter base anymore. Liz Cheney is going to be losing her job soon. Trump backed candidates are winning all over the place. A republican candidate in my state who was Trump backed just beat the candidate the cuck governor was supporting. Are there still some around? Oh yeah. But not as many as there used to be.

Other political forces pushing the Desantis narrative would be the democrats and the liberal media. The point is not to get caught up in or take it seriously. If Desantis were to run, he would get the same treatment as Trump. Even worse because of the whole anti-fag bill he pushed in Florida. Screaming Nazi and Hitler at people they don't like isn't something the left just started doing because of Trump. They called Bush a Nazi and compared him to Hitler all the time.

Reminder that the Secret service absolutely loved Trump and to this day, even after an attempted ideological purge, they stand behind the man. I heavily suspect that this is -the- reason Trump hasn't been assassinated.
Turns out when the Secret Service gets respect for the first time in at least eight years that it really sticks with them.
A third......Jesus Christ. :o

Oh look, another thing that Brandon did to "help" us actually hurting us in the long run. Like clockwork.
Joe Biden won't live long enough to see the long run so he doesn't care.
To be fair he had the image from the apprentice. Screaming your fired.

And tones of articles saying that he was always going through cabinet members etc.
IIRC that was thanks to the Uniparty ensuring only their critters could gain a footing.

This is sure to improve things.

Biden Intervenes in Railroad Contract Fight to Block Strike
President Joe Biden has blocked a freight railroad strike for at least 60 days by naming a board of arbitrators to intervene in the contract dispute, averting action that could have disrupted all kinds of shipments
..
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — President Joe Biden on Friday blocked a freight railroad strike for at least 60 days by naming a board of arbitrators to intervene in the contract dispute, averting action that could have disrupted all kinds of shipments.
The widely expected move will keep 115,000 rail workers on the job while the arbitrators develop a set of contract recommendations for both sides to consider. Biden had to act before Monday to prevent a possible strike. A new round of negotiations is likely after those recommendations are issued.
The president wrote in an executive order naming the arbitrators that he'd "been notified by the National Mediation Board that in its judgment these disputes threaten substantially to interrupt interstate commerce to a degree that would deprive a section of the country of essential transportation service.”
If the railroads and their 12 unions can’t agree on a contract within the next 60 days, Congress would likely step in to prevent a strike by voting to impose terms or taking other action.

Sorry. Phone posting and it will not grab the entire article.

So he's now had his Reagan moment? Only it, like everything Biden does, is lame?

Well, it's difficult to be known as "Le Epic Strike-Breaker" if all you are doing to break the strike is giving the strikers everything they want, and sucking the cocks of the strike leaders.

We will get fucked over worse by this than if they had just let the strike continue.

That's the thing that gets me about all of this.

Where's Joe's payoff? When does he get to rest on his laurels (or fat stacks of Hunter-gotten gains)? When does he get to wave goodbye and fuck off to his private island, where he can sniff children's hair to his heart's content?

There doesn't seem to be one that I can follow. The man is 3/4 dead as it is. There is no future for him to enjoy what he's got (or thinks he's going to get). Even he must have lucid moments where he realizes this.

So what's his incentive to keep on this course? Is he paying off old debts? Protecting his family? Chasing a promised Futurama Nixon's Head immortality of some sort? Love of the game, hate for the people?

Even if his brain is glitching and he's being managed by some unholy kike-fag-chink alliance, what's to keep him from blurting out the whole game on live tv, just to spite his puppet masters? Surely not fear of death.

Perhaps these people lived in too rarified airs for us mere mortals to understand their motivations.

His family. Wait a minute....

What if his first wife and daughter's deaths weren't an accident but an assassination and that whoever killed them is basically threatening his current family unless he does what they want? Just a thought.

If I recall correctly, Biden jumped into the race to stop Trump from looking into Hunter's Ukrainian dealings. Now it's a mix of he was the only palatable candidate and just inertia.

Pretty old, one has to realize politically prominent people like Biden and Trump aren't even Baby Boomers, they are from the Silent Generation which preceded the Boomers.
Trump is a baby boomer bc he was born after wwii. Biden technically counts as a boomer bc he was born at the tail end of the war. neither are even close to the Silent Generation, who were the ones who fought during WWI and are all dead.

Hunter is his last living son and he is shielding the fuck out of him.

Pete Buttigieg has again suggested that high gas prices are a good thing because it forces people to accept a transition to the green energy agenda.

Too bad there's months long waitlists to get an ev currently
Work in automotive. All white collar coworkers have drank the ev koolaid despite us losing money on them, sales being low, and them being horrendously expensive.
Its a point of their religion now that gas cars are bad, EVs are good.

He doesn't know anything else. Forty something years of flailing in politics--this is his life and identity. So for him he's achieved the highest goal, and it's nothing but a pyrrhic victory.

It's useless to use a normal frame of reference to figure out politician's motivations. Other than greed and power, there's really nothing else driving them.

"Hey, we're quickly trying to get people off of gas, so not only are we raising the prices of gas, but we are telling people to buy this car with the money they currently don't have due to us fucking them over by making them loose their job and/or not paying them enough to compensate for the rising costs of inflation. And then spend even MORE money on the thing that powers up the really expensive car just in case it goes to shit... which it most likely will because we tested this shit just as well as the faulty vaccines."

There has to be a new word that describes this because "evil" doesn't cut it anymore.
