His stated reason for moving was he wanted to be Vegas when (not if) he won AGT so he could do the residency right away. His other stated reason was SLC was too small for someone as talented as him. His unstated reason is he thought he could start over and no one would know about his past shenanigans because he forgot the internet and search engines exist.

And again it all comes back to if people would only let him EXPLAIN then they'd agree with him.

Problem is in today's world if you're going to meet somebody for the first time you tend to google them first. Check out their social media. Find pictures and what others have said of them.

Nobody is going to say, "nah I'm good" and then just go with what he says.

He wouldn't be allowed into most of the swingers groups here for sure. The one that would let him attend would make him pay through the nose for a ticket and if any woman reported him for being troubling or invasive the bouncers would make him hit the pavement, then he would be blacklisted.
