I was introduced to the series very early on, back when the first game was on its first expansion. The community at that time seemed decently friendly and helpful. But like all things, it slowly became more and more woke through the years, like “diversity hires” and “inclusive language”. For example, when creating a character now, it is no longer male or female, just “masculine” or feminine”.
The game’s lore was intriguing from the beginning, but became more and more about degenerate relationships for no reason. I swear, it’s like 99% of the characters now have gay backstories, which are probably due to staff like this:
I really tried to just enjoy the game for what it was, but one day (I think last year), I was greeted with this message when signing in:

So coincidentally, I heard in some circles (don’t quote me on this) that after Bungie decided to pander towards the troons, there was an uptick in 3D-rendered “lesbian” porn of the women in the game. But of course, it’s the type where they look the same as they do in the game, only with penises. Which group of individuals do you think are responsible for making that sort of degeneracy?
It’s a shame because the quality of literally everything rapidly went downhill once the wokeness began. If “Alice” really tested the game, then he fucking sucked at it because the game since then has been a lifeless, poorly coded, buggy, unoptimized hell (like an analogy for troons in general). Troonery literally infects and destroys everything like the fucking disease that it is.

Like troons who ask to be beta testers for games and shit, they don't care about going through testing, they just want consoom thing before other people, to brag and be "alpha consoomer" in his group of troon losers or try to influence the product as insider. I bet his notes up to that point were things like "change language in car's system console to be more inclusive".

For most lefties (or at least the most rabid ones) being uneducated is the only reason why people don't agree with them. For them the only people that are downright evil are the people that know and still choose to disagree with them while most people are just uninformed and uneducated to make a wise choice (AKA, their choice). It's their eternal way of saying "You just don't agree with me because you're too dumb to understand it".
It's like that when something gets infested with wokeness (specially trannies). They will constantly focus on non issues like player interaction, character design/backstories, and most specially, representation. Because you need to make a sizeable amount of the game population some shade of brown and some type of genderspecial for it to be OK with the new people you hired. And if you dare say no, they will say you're harassing them and probably sue for discrimination. After all, you're not pandering to them and therefore, you're discriminating in the worst way possible.

By this metric sci-fi and fantasy as genres cannot exist. Both of those genres are explicitly about writing experiences you haven't had. Historical fiction is problematic too, because you didn’t live in the Victorian Era so you cannot be accurate.
I know she says issues stories, but the line between "issues" and "fiction in general" is very thin.
Wokeness has no place in the more fantastical genres. I have no problem with diverse skin tones, unless it's a period piece. Netflix just came out with an adaptation of Persuasion by Jane Austen. It's wonderful, except there are niggers and Asian folks everywhere. There's an interracial marriage, in England in the 1800s, which I doubt would be a thing. Even if the black family was somehow rich, like they were in the movie. [Edit: looked it up and it's possible to have had an interracial marriage in Austen's time, depending on local culture] It's very obviously diverse just for the sake of being diverse. Feels bad man.
Homosexual relationships in fantasy is less cringe than tranny shit. There's one author who does gender non-conforming well, where it doesn't feel unnatural and shoehorned in.
Anyway, it sucks that everything has to be woke these days. It really is ruining my favorite genres.

That's another thing about post modern art that is fucking annoying. On the one hand, imagination is all powerful. For example, the troons say they know what it feels like to be the other sex, which they don't. They've never been the other sex. It's all just imagination, which since these people aren't very imaginative, it's largely bullshit stereotypes. Then on the other hand, nobody is capable of imagining something outside of their own life. Like pick a fucking lane.

The point is more whether the story is being written for the sake woke consumption, or whether there is a point to the historically anachronistic elements. Hamilton is obviously trying to make a point in the casting decisions Lin-Manuel Miranda made. Do you think Netflix is trying to make a point about the absence of Black and Asian people in Britain in historical fiction, despite their (smaller but not non-existent) presence at the time? Or are they doing it so that some idiot liberal can watch an easy-to-digest offbrand Downton Abbey while gloating to themselves and their friends about how woke they are for watching it?
I know which one I think it is.
This is the thing I hate the most about woke consumption, it reduces the act of engaging and thinking about a story to a checklist of moral points for and against. It also tediously makes it impossible to actually write about different worlds or cultures, since everything must be filtered through the pop morality of the moment, with no question about historical context or theme. A story about a black character is not necessarily a story of "oppression", which paints way too simple and dumb a picture about the experiences people had. But that is literally the only thing on these people's brains when it comes to their consumer choices, "how does my consumerism represent my morality to people"?
There is interesting stuff in fantasy that relates to bending or breaking gender roles, what identity means and comes from, etc. That's not why trannies are being written into DnD. That's happening purely so that the things people already like can come with an extra helping of self-righteous bullshit for being on "the right side of history"
To go to your example above, there's plenty to be written about Asians and Africans in England, given how much people moved around in the Empire. In Jane Austen's time though, the very first diplomatic visits between the Mughals and the British had happened in the late 1700s, but the Asian presence in Britian was essentially nil. There were both free and enslaved black people. So you could definitely write about black characters in Georgian Era Britian. The way to do it would not be to pretend the British aristocracy was somehow colorblind, when at the time marrying someone of Irish descent was enough to get you disowned, and many of them were involved with or profiting from the slave trade. It's just a terminal lack of creativity on both the creator and consumer that leads to "let's adapt the same book, but add in some token minorities". There's plenty of fun shows on Netflix coming out of Nigeria, if these assholes are so woke, why don't they go watch and promote one of them instead of just "Jane Austen, but urban"?
