That uses statistics to guess the true number of dislikes. If it knows that 5% of viewers rate the video, and 59% are giving a video a dislike, it can display an estimate larger than the amount of extension users who disliked it. It could easily be an overestimate since people who use the extension are probably more likely to use the dislike button.
