I frame-stepped the whole last 5 seconds and you still could barely see what's what. That ambulance was hauling SO much ass on a wet road, no wonder it happened. One guy got ejected out the back along with a gurney and some sheets or gowns and the poor fucker who tried to save the crash barricade ended up caught in the underbody of the ambulance. Brutal.

Police departments generally don't like hiring vets because vets are trained in different take down techniques. General military practice is it's ok to fuck the person up as long as they live (don't jump down my throat with your exceptions, as I've seen the training that is more along the subdue but don't hurt lines and an extreme minority gets that training.) But I agree that hiring practices should be changed and a larger budget should be set aside for training, and adequate completion of training courses. But you know ACAB and defund the police because dumb ass protesters would rather have armed morons with no support vs a well trained police force, because well trained police forces are going to border on paramilitary and that's fascist or whatever weak bitch word is popular this week.

The army uses those MRAPs/MATVs that are wrapped in that "netting". The point of it is to have an RPG impact the net first and explode externally.
When I first got to Afghan an Army unit took a hit from an RPG, and that netting sort of did it's job. Except the netting warped and made it so you couldn't open the doors of the MRAP, and then the MRAP caught on fire. And everyone inside burned alive.
It wasn't uncommon for that shit to warp after strikes or IEDs, I really don't know who thought it was a good idea or how it passed any kind of testing before it made it to theatre.
