I think he manipulated her -- behind the scenes -- into justifiably believing that. I know that she's mental and lives in a delusional reality, but I 100% believe that he led her on.
The more I think about that last video, the more I think that he smacked DD because he was on the video call. There is no way that this could be proven to be true or false, but I think had they been alone, he might have been the coward he is and just postured. But because he had another woman watching--and one he wanted to impress by being a real man--he had to defend his honor against being called a "coward." Otherwise, why would you want a witness to that kind of behavior? I don't know, perhaps just a rational mind overthinking something that I'd never consider engaging in because I'm not an insecure piece of shit like Nader.
