It's because a deadname represents a fragment of the past a troon is so desperate to cut off all ties to. Hearing the deadname is a reality check against the delusion they live in. That's why there is such a visceral reaction.

Deadnames are meant to stay dead to them. Buried with their past, awkward, cringe self.

But you can't bury the past, just learn from it. If you can't make peace with the specter of your past self, you're sure going to chimp out as soon as you hear it.

His mom's facebook was still public and full of all their photo albums last time I checked around a week ago, it's now private again. Seemingly after the KF meltdown stream Lucas did
