Women killing children/babies isn't as uncommon as you'd think unfortunately. They can be as sadistic as men, but it's even more revolting as it's the betrayal of the most primal instinct since it's typically a mother or a mother type figure doing the murders. Not surprising to me in the slightest. It tracks with what is common with severe child abuse. Men tend towards bursts of extreme physical and sexual violence, where women are more prone to continual low grade psychological and physical torture.
