Mags is basically the first meme/shitposting male Vtuber in the Corporate EN sphere so /vt/ is running wild especially since his and Noir's designs are....yeah. Luxiem basically went all in on fanservice and homo rp while Noctyx has been mostly dull outside Uki being an actual outspoken homo, Yugo being a menhera, and Fungus tooting his horn way too early.

I will say at least, Fulgur and Alban are the only two from Noctyx I'll consider watching at all.

Side note, but I want it documented. I flipped into Rie's stream after Airi was done, and within 5 minutes she has told a boss to "Seethe and Dilate" and then aggressively shook a pill bottle at him.

I still don't understand how the designs for Tempus turned out like.... that. I do enjoy Holostars a lot and I at least think the current JP Holostars have some nice and easy on the eye designs. Even when Uproar came out, I didn't have much to say about it but now I'm just dumbfounded for a whole other reason entirely.

Someone, somewhere, in Cover really said "Yes, I like this" and gave it a stamp of approval.

I dunno, I've always found Holostars designs to be uneven. Astel's hair looks like seaweed, Temma ,Shien and a few others looks straight out of an OEL manga with their generic designs. Though I'd happily swap Uproar and Tempest characters except for white hair guy.. JP can keep him.

The designs of the models is unironically entirely up to the artist and they can either design them with the talent in mind and base it off general information/their video auditions or they can just make whatever and hope the person assigned to it fits in some way.

I remember a clip where she addressed that and just didn't want to get in trouble because featuring games for that would basically be calling them shitty and didn't want a sensitive dev sperging out on her (and the company) because of it. Defamation etc. I think she said she would still try to play those kind of games, but not officially under the title of "kuso monday". (Not sure if that went anywhere anyway with her weird streaming schedules and constant breaks.)

Well someone did sign off on plate-face Gura and Anya models, so they have a bit of history of it. (Speaking of which, has that rigger gotten any work with them since?)
