First off, here's Keffals youtube channel image taken directly from his channel page:

Obviously anyone can download this and set it as their channel picture, this happens all the time in the sektur.

What you can't necessarily get away from is stupidly long content URLs.

If you right click on the icon in Hunter's chat from the suspect Keffals donations, you'll see "inspect", click that and you should see something like this:

Now, you go to Keffal's youtube channel and do the same thing to the channel picture on the main page, I get this:

Hmm, no match, now this method may have some gotchas so let us attempt to gather some additional evidence.

Let's go to a Keffals video:

Aha, exactly what we need, a comment by Keffals verified to BE Keffals (unless Keffals is pinning random impersonating troll comments), and a channel picture both on the same page.

Right click inspect on the channel avatar gets me this:

You all should notice a pattern with the last 3 URLs we know to be from Keffals channel, specifically this chunk:

If I had to guess this is the ID for the image itself and the rest after it is arguments for how it is to be displayed on the page, whatever, doesn't really matter.

Just to be sure I went through and found a different alleged Keffals superberry from the same stream and inspected it too:

Same URL as the first alleged chat, doesn't match other 3 URLs.

Point being, it seems like Lucas may have told the truth here, or at least with the available evidence I can't dispute his version of events on this specific incident.

This method should also work for scrutinizing Keffals superberries in other chats as well, and anyone can do it as long as they have access to the inspect menu.

Now...if it can be shown that a channel we know beyond any doubt to be Keffals in a youtube chat specifically has the same content URL as the alleged superberries then things get complicated because that would mean chat avatars are stored differently, which doesn't make sense but it could happen. I find this unlikely given this method is how PPP was caught malding in his Ex-boyfriend's chat, so if the icons from that situation were using the same content ID (in that case, channel avatar and YT chat avatar were identical), then it follows that if you could actually find a 100% verified wild Keffals in YT chat the inspect results would be the same content URL as in the above 3 examples we know to be Keffals.

There is a way he could have sent the chats, but it's the most schizo thing in the world and wholly unsubstantiated without pretty damn good evidence which we definitely haven't found yet.

Late rate me if you wish, I just wanted to close this out with precision.

Was gonna post about this earlier actually, I did the same bit of digging. The problem here really is that YouTube provides no way to actually check the channel of someone who sent in a chat/superchat (unless you're the person doing the stream, I assume). The only actions you can perform on a superchat is to report or block the person who sent it. If we could find a chat/superchat which was confirmed to be sent by Keffals' actual YouTube account, we could use YouTube's blocking system to verify it, but unless somebody has an example offhand, we're getting a little too autistic here.

I went through most of the superchats from that stream that I could find and they all have the same link to their profile image, meaning that they are all likely the same account. However, upon checking this info against Keffals' actual YouTube page, you can actually see that not only are they different links, they're different images. The alleged Keffals superberry has both a lower quality and smaller crop version of Keffals' actual profile picture. I don't actually see anything in the links which would show this difference in a way that would make sense; the way YouTube resizes avatars seems to be related to this little piece towards the end "w=s[x]", where [x] is the size of the image required as a square.

If you look at Keffals' actual profile picture when sized differently between pages (e.g. YT search vs channel page), this value changes (and also if you actually open the link and manually change the number, the size changes...)

If you resize both Keffals' pfps, it becomes blatantly obvious that they're different images.

So yes, Keffals seems to have told the truth; this appears to be a shit-stirrer or perhaps a very dedicated, misinformed, autistic fan.

That said, all this means is that Keffals hasn't literally paid Hunter money to call him out. Still talking about him constantly on Twitter though, still pitching a bitch fit about it and being wrong. Just not quite this pathetic. Someone else is.

Anyone got that clip of Keffals' talking about how he'd never build Legos on stream because he uses it to relax? That shit is lowkey hilarious. It's such a bizarre, animated reaction to being asked about Legos after talking bout the NES he built because he was pissy after yelling at someone and "needed" to talk about anything else, haha. If someone could drop that video, I'd love that.
