The more about you that I hear the more of a chad you become. Working in oil fields, being in the military, etc etc.

Lol too late. Politically, this was in vogue six years ago. But hey, if they want to show the voters that they’re focusing on things other than inflation, the supply chain, and the economy, it’s their fucking funeral.

One of the things I remember from staying up all night and watching the election results in 2016, was how many states were legalizing weed. Given how widespread it’s used (even in prohibition states), and the existence of dispensaries, this feels a little late to the game. Only 11 states exist in this country where weed is fully prohibited, meaning that it hasn’t been either:
-Fully legalized
-Legalized for medical use only
-Decriminalized

Unless this would allow users to transport weed in the air, or make weed exempt under section 11e of the Form 4473 (they won’t relinquish that modicum of control), this is utterly pointless. Btw, 11e is so stupidly vague, since sugar and fucking COFFEE could be considered a ‘stimulant.’

I think that's overthinking it. I think he picked Pence because Pence looked like a VP right out of Central Casting. He wasn't going to overshadow the boss, which is what you want in a number 2 guy. That he turned out to be a snake is just because Trump underestimated the swamp. I think we all did though, I'm massively politically cynical and I didn't think it was as bad as it ended up being.

Also Kiwi Boomers, just by being here on the Farms you're demonstrating that you're not typical for you generational cohort. It's probably a case of being too close to things to really get a good view of it as a whole. All of the five generations that are still in play suck in their own ways.

I knew Trump was in trouble from the second he chose not to have Flynn as his VP. The two clearly connected in beliefs and might have actually achieved something together. I seem to remember reading somewhere he was forced to go with someone with an established GOP presence otherwise they wouldn't support his run for the Presidency.

Have never bought a home and unless I hit the lottery will never be able to buy a home of our own here. Extremely expensive in coastal CA, anything decent starts above $500k. My son was able to buy a house in Texas fairly easily, though.

Least until they see the Federal taxes imposed on cannabis products, on top of state, county, and city taxes - just like alcohol. Probably Federal taxes on growers and processors, likely some sort of FDA regulation, etc. After all this many people will just say, "Fuck it, I'll just get my stuff from Bob like always or grow it myself. Cheaper."

This claim is always a riot. Dems enjoyed over a decade of zealous cheerleading for Obama and fervent hatred of Trump. They now consider the mildest unflattery towards Biden "bad press coverage" or "bothsidesism".

Speaking of baby formula, walked through Walmart yesterday. While the baby formula is still locked away behind glass doors, supply seems okay. Will take a look at the commissary tomorrow.
