I'm going to go off my hinges and say fuck ebay, he's not wrong but then again so is everybody who doesn't want to be forced to have 12% taken off the sale and have to wait on that money for four days which he needs now, he really really does he needs that money.

It's more than 12%. Ever since they started charging sales tax to the buyer the seller also has to pay $12% of that too (and 12% of the shipping if it's included in the auction. After hundreds of sales I can tell you it's very close to 15% of the final sold price but you can never predict exactly since you don't know where the buyer lives and how much tax they were charged until they pay.

TL;DR - yeah fuck ebay


EDIT: quick example how ebay fees kill you:

Say a final price for an item you sell is $76. USPS Medium Flat-rate shipping box is $15 (added to final price). Then the buyer is charged 10% sales tax by ebay. That buyer pays ebay $100.10 total and then eBay determines their 12.35% fee from that ($12.36). Since the seller doesn't get the tax money and the shipping is also out of their pocket the $12.36 fee is subtracted from the $76 sale price and that's what they get from ebay ($63.64). In that example ebay's fees are about 16.5%.

Rate me optimistic but I still believe the best is yet to come. He used to be a pretty toxic and lame person, a greedy scum fuck, but now its hard for me to even call him a person.

He's absolutely insufferable in every facet of his existence, completely incapable in doing anything himself, he's genuinely a delusional narcissist and extremely impulsive. Within the last year he's devolved so much that it's a little hard to believe. He's spoiled beyond belief and is being conditioned to this effortless life. At some point, albeit slowly, the rug will be pulled and it will be a sight to behold. Also let's not forget, his midlife crisis, and his current mental health state are extremely entertaining.

This I believe. Sure him getting mad at vidya and toxic was all good but sooner or later, his shit health will be much more noticeable and will have to be addressed. Compare how he looks from the beginning of this year to now. He looks worse and worse and I do expect a medical emergency to happen within the next few years.

He can't even chew food normally because of how shit his teeth are

It probably isn't legal but someone would have to sue eBay for their three dollars or whatever for them to stop. What gets me is eBay is basically a license to print money, why do they need to nickel and dime their users? Their only costs are bandwidth and server space for auction images which is admittedly probably pretty high but they make billions of fucking dollars a year.

Leanna mental breakdown and the break up following it was pure gold. I long for those days. He took many cringy selfies looking like absolute garbage because he was drinking every night, more than now, and trying to learn how to do his own laundry and other household tasks by himself. He even bought some plants and of course killed them all within a month and ate hungry man dinners every night. From DSP's Boomer statue video, from when he was trying to scam his fans by selling them statues via email instead of eBay or Amazon and at highly inflated prices, DSP visibly breaks the styrofoam packing and then within 15 seconds lies about when and how the styrofoam broke.

Ive seen literal children open Christmas presents with more care then sausage fingers over there.

I love the mature business adult mentality of "not my fault dood!" as if people will be ok that the packaging is busted as long as it was USPS that broke it.

I think the fee on shipping used to be low or 0 but then sellers would sell for cheap with really high shipping costs to avoid the fee so everything gets hit now.

As far as tax goes I think that is pretty much standard. When you buy something at a regular store and use a credit card I'm pretty sure they get hit just the same. You buy something for $10 and have 10% tax so you're charging $11 on the card. The CC company takes their 3% fee from that and give the retailer $10.67. The state still expects their whole dollar from the retailer so it's on them to cover the difference. Any business that accepts payment that requires fees should price items with those fees taken into consideration, even eBay sellers.

The $1.30 (or whatever it is now) tips is pretty prudent from that perspective, even if it is scummy to be so overt about putting the burden on the customer and then round it out because he is salty that there's a cost of doing business.

Damn I thought I was going crazy but he really does look a lot worse now than even a year ago. He doesn't age gradually, he ages in spurts. I think that after he married Khet is when his appearance went from fugly fat dude to pale and ghoulish in just 2 years. Now he looks like a corpse during the bloat phase of decomposition.

I get the overall opinion regarding remakes/remasters. It is what it is.

It's just laughable coming from the guy. A man who buys two copies of the latest Capcom or sf collection.

It gets kinda sad when you realize he's recorded like 100s of hours voicing why the games are WORSE than the originals. Almost to the point of him dismissing them as legitimate in any capacity(unless he's winning of course). He raged at SF collection for being a dog shit emulation of what the games were. Didn't stop him from buying 2 copies when the Capcom collection came out, just so he could bitch about how the stages don't play the same, the characters play worse, and the netcode is shit.

Last of Us being exact same? No copies for meeeeereeee

Sf/Capcom is bundling a bunch of jankly emulated games together in a collection?
I'll take 2 copies, of each please.
