Don't worry, any competent political analysis firm does in fact check with ordinary people. This is why I do not consider groups like FiveThirtyEight to be competent. We often follow-up our polling by sending a few interns to go to talk to people personally in regions to ask more in-depth, informal questions door-to-door. Usually in either key counties or in counties with a near fifty-fifty split.

Please explain how I "burned" any of them. I raised them in reality, not being given asspats and trophies just for participating.
