The purpose of the prostate gland is to supply seminal fluid to be mixed with semen from the testicles. Seminal fluid protects sperm during travel and adjusts ph of female's vagina to assist reproduction.

The prostate gland also serves as a muscle so when a man orgasms, it contracts to expel seminal fluid and prevent urine from entering the urethra. Even when a man has had a vasectomy, the prostate gland still provides seminal fluid though no semen present.

When fetuses are developing within the mother, the same cells which become the prostate gland for males, becomes the skene's gland for females. Similar to the male Prostate gland, the female Skene's gland contracts during orgasms.

The skene's glands are what help keep female genitals lubricated and prevent urinary tract infections. It also lubricates the vagina during arousal.

Pooping function is the same for both male and female humans.
