Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

Disturbing Internet 11

Well, here's the third attempt for Eudoxia with this video. In the pinned comment he mentions being "burnt out on the format" before immediately saying that he's looking forward to doing the same format on his Patreon. I sincerely doubt the people who watch these videos care about all the complaining.
Him being burnt out on the content definitely shows. Since he's gotten larger his videos have gotten more and more lazy. There's literally a segment where he shows a car crash into other cars and is like "well that's it idk why this happened." He's obviously just trying to milk for money, there's no passion behind it.

Is there some kinda internet algorithm that makes this place popular every summer? Every mid summer I see content and faggots on /x/ talking about this place. I remember all the drama when this place first got big online and McKamey started running his boomer tier internet defense.
Time to crawl around in his yard for that 20k.

They all come from Makeship, a website especialized in plushies that look passable enough but are extremely easy to mass produce and, more importantly, easy as fuck to design. Almost every single content creator I see just picks the default model they offer and throws in some very minimal changes to make the plushie more recognizable. Some are far more blatantly lazy than others and borderline on Funko Pop levels of generic. Which, in many cases, is probably something that appeals to their audience.

But yeah, I guess the answer is that when you have an audience that majorly consists of actual children and manchildren with too much money on their hands who literally cannot resist the words "limited time only" and some plushie company approaches you with an offer that lets you make some extra income by selling a toy you'd probably take less than ten minutes to design, it becomes very very difficult to turn them down.
The middle one's eyes so fucked up it's laughable and that's not how they are even meant to be, the pupils are meant to be in the middle pretty sure.

Came across this channel while checking my recommendations, surprisingly decent quality despite the very low subscriber count.
First video reminded me of this channel that I came across. It's about documenting high profile bear attacks. It probably scares me more than most of the people ITT because there's a significant bear population near my area.

"DISTURBING BOOKS OF ALL TIME"
Everytime with the hyperbole. Why can't Youtube get rid of this kind of shit.
Most of those books are either edgy stuff involving rape or murder, gross things or sexual/drug related subjects, books about being depressed, and nihilism.. Hell, House of Leaves is just cool as fuck, nothing disturbing about it, unless metawriting spooks you.
This list is like someone who just reads young adult stuff picking random books from Wikipedia to go "Look at how crazy my tastes in books are, guys!".
They don't even have any idea of some real edgy shit either like stuff by Dennis cooper, or Samuel Delaney or even sarah Kane or A.M Holmes would blow their fucking minds. Anything off of amphetamine sulphate press would destory their perception, plus its all queer writers. Thats the worst thinig with saying something is all time, they really do not dig deep or think they know what they are talking about

kinda? laughable regardless

bout to watch it, I hope its not shit. Muta has declined severely since Deep Web Browsing ended, its not even Quality over Quantity imo, its just pure laziness from Muta. EDIT: Vid sucks, is pretty boring due to Muta's presentation of it. dude also skips over tons of interesting stuff, and doesnt let sites sink in to really cover them. Deep Web Browsing is dead
These live reactions/commentary to horror stuff are always more miss than hit. It's worse when they're livestreaming it. I really like Gemini Home Entertainment so I ventured out into the wild to check out what other people thought of it and stumbled upon a few streamers and reactors(?). I don't even mind not picking up on minute details, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed either, but when they look away to interact with chat when something's obviously going on or just go on for a 10 minute random tangent that goes nowhere(looking at you Pyrocinical) it's egregious, and I am pretty sure at least one girl I watched was on cocaine while recording.

I agree. I was watching some of Goose Boose streams that were posted here and my God, he was so fucking boring. It was like "Ok, that was weird... anyway, what was chat talking about?" and then minutes talking about anythig but the video or the subject, or answering someone's unrelated question and going on a rant. I don't understand how people watch these for 3 to 4 hours.

I've been seeing tons of youtubers do that plushie shit. At first I thought they were neat and at least better than stamping on designs to generic tshirts and mugs, but then I figured a plushie is useless by comparison. As useless as a funko pop with less preservation due to fabrics rather than plastics.

Seeing as people are posting the other common horror youtubers, here were the Wendigoon plushies from that Makeship site. Not sure what the price was, but i'm seeing most of these things priced at $25-$30 USD.

I could just about understand selling a doll of the user's avatar, the first Wendigoon one is quite charming, and Night Mind's cat monster thing makes a cute teddy (or at least it would have if he hadn't told everyone it was his fursona). But having a cuddly doll based on the actual person is just weird. The worst one of those I saw was the Ingham family vloggers' merch that was a replica of their baby. These aren't quite as creepy since they're more stylised, but I still think it's weird to have a cuddly toy based on a real person. Like, these are made for children or pets to cuddle and sleep with, and YouTubers certainly don't need any encouragement to do that.
