It was selfish of Amy to even have that first baby to begin with. All her doctors were advising against it and she went through anyway. Those two babies are in for a horrible life, and that’s to say nothing of all the myriad of inherited health issues. I wonder if Amy will even love long enough to see her sons graduate high school.

She literally let a dog in a hot trailer without any water, then it snapped and attacked her. While she still did not understand why it would get angry. If she can't even take care of a dog properly, her having two kids is infuriating. The entire Slaton family are a bunch of scumbags.

It really does horrify me if I stop to think about all the morally bankrupt dipshits like Amy and pedo husband who have kids. If TLC showed what terrible parents Amy and pedo husband are, the show might be interesting (if appalling) for a change and I might give them some props. Alas, they’ll do anything but make a real reality show.

The thing that disgusts me the most is how the Amy and Tammy supporters literally act as if they are so perfect and say "Amy is such a good mom, she is a great mother".

I hope to god these people do not even have a little goldfish as a pet.

The TLC show, like any show, needed a hero and a villain. They made Amy the hero and Tammy the villain, the two of them were just too stupid to realize it. Amy’s little “redemption arc” where she lost weight and had her children were not redeeming at all. She only came across as tolerable in the show because the bar for comparison was Tammy. And the moments where she seemed like the voice of reason on the show? Those were 100% scripted and directed by the TLC people. Amy would never be that way organically.

She is still a terrible person. I’m not gonna comment on how good or bad she is as a mother because I really don’t know, but I can only assume the worst. And I still do feel bad for her sons. I can only hope they’re somehow able to escape the cesspool that is the Slaton family and the filthy corner of butt-nowhere Kentucky where they live.
