Exactly- and those Greek boyfuckers were only considered honorable if they were also married to a woman and producing more citizens. It wasn't a "born this way I just wanna love my man like other guys love their wives!" kind of thing in the slightest. Dominance ritual about sums it up.

Bringing this slightly back on topic, it's odd that in all my years of internet debate and sperging about this topic, pretty much only terfs do this disingenuous little song and dance about how "oh it's just so INTERESTING you think homosexuality is wrong somehow?? I never met someone like that??? do tell me more???" to try to shame in a roundabout way. Other gays and liberals will engage in all kinds of other tactics to counter the moral opposition to homosexuality. They will try to trump up some evidence in the bible (ie that David was gay) or they will do the whole love is love and only monsters oppose love. They will do the suicide threat- if you don't accept and tolerate they will kill themselves! They appeal to emotion about AIDS victims dying in the hospital unable to be visited by their "husbands." But only terfs do this weird dumb act "I never heard of such a thing as gay is wrong?? what possible?? basis?? could?? anyone?? believe that?? You are the only one!?!?!" It's a clumsy attempt at gaslighting and "gawk at the weirdo" ostracization. And I think it highlights how profoundly personality disordered they are, as a group.

Your first point is largely the same has saying the Catholic Church doesn't really accept heterosexual people because everything other than unprotected PIV sex between spouses is a mortal sin. Historical views of the subject are more diverse than prohibition or modern western equality.

TERF and other left wing people talk about the moral opposition to homosexuality they way we do because it's absurd to us. It really all boils down to eww gross and cries of its unnatural.
