It's weird the vamp guy came out so gross looking, that artist has drawn some of my favourite CE illustrations in FGO. They are very talented and capable of high quality work.

The blonde and purple guy is a literal abomination. Funnily enough that artist also drew some of my most hate servant designs in FGO.

ETA: It was not super hard to make this guy look 100 percent less like he is missing a chromosome. Honestly why are his eyes so far apart. Someone got paid, I'm assuming handsomely for this and they looked and it and said, yep that's fine. I wonder how scuffed it will look when doing eye tracking.

Sorry for the rough quality, but this post inspired me to draw what I would've done for his model personally. I saw a couple of others of this artist's work and it seems to be a consistent style of small upper head and wide eyes; however, they're usually angled in a way that seems like an exaggerated FOV instead of weird anatomy and I'm guessing it didn't work when facing completely front.

This said, I've grown to like the art in these few days and I'm sure others have too. Although the art style and quality are the biggest first impression that a Vtuber could ever get, its memorability is pretty important too, and his face is very memorable in many ways. It's intriguing. It's DeviantArt.

I have no proof but at this point I really feel like Cover just hires big-name artists (especially FGO ones) and then doesn't bother to give them any specific guidance or check on their progress while they are in the design stage.

Vshojo hate is pretty layered
You have
1. Twitch vs Youtube (VShojo primarily streams on Twitch, every other company is on Youtube)
2. Nyanners (this is self explanatory, if not she was the one that made "pomf pomf pomf", deleted it and swore against it, angering her 4chan fans)
3. Open with their sexuality compared to the other companies (I don't have SCIENTIFIC proof, but they seem to be more associated with Penis/Cum/Sex jokes vs other Vtubers, even though Holos/Nijis also make such jokes. Doesn't help one of their Vtubers is a literal camgirl on Chaturbate, and yes while using an anime avatar)
4. Being one of the more successful Agencies to pop up recently, that could potentially rival Holo/Niji in the West (no matter how people deny this, this is a reason why they hate on VShojo) (they have Nendoroids and Anime figures now, so they are relatively popular)

The "hate" on Kson is mostly because she used to be a part of Hololive as Kiryu Coco (the Japanese "Idol" Company) and retired almost a year ago. People generally accepted that her content just wasn't a good fit with their branding, and that she left on good terms. She was also the center of the Taiwan controversy.

Kson being hired in VShojo (as stated on #3, very opposite to an "Idol" company), and during one of her streams, explained that she joined VShojo because "it feels like a real family", which spewed narratives from trolls and contrarians that "She never left Hololive on good terms", "She was fired" and/or "She hates Hololive/Cover".

During her time as Kiryu Coco, she also rented an apartment with 2 other Hololive talents. As of yet, both talents still associated with Hololive has moved out of said apartment, with one of them saying that "it was management's decision for them to move out" which further spewed narratives of "Kson hates Holo/Cover"

I made a good post detailing why people deride vshojo in the other thread months ago, before kson and not-Rushia joined.

In the case of kson, a lot of people found it baffling why someone who left a company with bad management, went to yet another company with bad management.

A lot people thought kson wouldn't do it again, and maybe start her own company down the line since she had the money to do it. Instead she fell for the "talent freedom" meme and joined the Melody clique. The same clique that allows political tweets, various yabs, and couldn't manage auditions without it turning into a doxxing shitshow.

Vshojo are rather hands off when it comes to dealing with the talent (which leads to problems down the line) and as such don't have tard wranglers for those who need it (aka veibae who bad mouthed companies such as calling hololive a black company and openly shit on other vtubers like shylily) and talent basically get away with a lot of stuff that wouldn't happen in other corpos.

Whilst kson made her decision, and that's entirely up to her, a lot of people just feel it was a bad call. Especially when she had said she wouldn't join another corpo again, and wanted to prop up indies, which she did try to, and even gifted her old PC to someone who got affected by an earthquake. She could have helped expose people to decent talent, but sadly it'll just be vshojo orbiters now like the rest. 2views won't matter to kson no more, it'll all be about Snuffy, Haruka, Connor, etc, like the rest of the group does.

By joining vshojo, she basically pissed the indie support away, basically making it look like going back to being an indie ultimately didn't cut it, so off she went to join the controversial agency that has people like Nyanners in it. Plus she made that stream trying to defend joining it, saying it wouldn't change her content......and then saying Twitch is where the EN streams will be. And on the debut she brought up playing ARK with other vtubers......well she had a year to do that, she didn't need a company for that!


The only good thing appears to be is that she got her manager and translator to tag along with her (so isn't being unmanaged unlike the rest of the group), and the translator helps the Nazuna channel out by translating whatever not-Rushia says and the stream will show the translated message, because she's solely a JP streamer.

In addition, she hasn't turned into a typical vshitshow member yet, and is basically doing the Rushia shit with a different model, complete with the screaming and saying she's boing boing when chat calls her pettan. Even then, she had enough shrimps to prop her up as Mikeneko on YouTube, she didn't need the agency.

They were both risky pickups, Rushia for how her real life NDA breaking needy streamer situation turned out, and kson because of the China antis, that the bugs could now swarm the other talent for association, and also the potential that the group could be blocked from collabs and other opportunities due to them being members. There's always a good chance Rushia will menhera again and it will end in tears for a lot of people, especially if the rrat about her moving in with kson becomes true.

And then her room mate announced she was moving out after she joined vshojo. Which tells you pretty much what Hololive feels about kson joining the yab club with not-Rushia. Kson chose the NDA breaking needy streamer and shitty talent like veibae and nyanners over her own room mate of her former agency....now that's fucked up.

Whether kson realised there'd be consequences after her actions are unknown, but she said in the above video, she had talked to vshojo in March of this year. This wasn't an instant decision in July, when her supposed 1 year no compete had run out, which had supposedly limited her to some activities such as 3D streams and that.

Dont forget about Zen/Zentrayea, who for a good while had constant spergouts about US politics, was really shit on one of the first big Vshoujo collabs because of his TTS, and constantly pity posts on twitter, during one of his pity posting sessions, he even removed the "Vshojo" from his twitter name and description, leading many to believe he was gonna quit

He was once bullied into going twitter protected because he malded at people backseating him during an Elden Ring stream
