It's a quality issue, not a quantity issue. To make a troon you need a child that is insecure, mentally ill, and doesn't have a strong family presence. Tight knit communities with strong family values doesn't have a troon problem, no matter how many kids guys like Rekieta cranks out because they grew up in a high quality environment. But a community that is loosely bonded with weak values that encourages self gratification above all else will facilitate a low quality environment that provides lots of children to prey upon.

Weirdly, the Kalamazoo area is pretty white especially for a major city in Michigan, I have to imagine much of the "diversity" comes from Western Michigan University.
