General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

It's looking like Scarle Yonaguni will become the first ever Niji to reach 100K subs prior to debuting. Aster and Ren may also accomplish it. Aia, Maria, and Kyo are possibly just a LITTLE bit off.

A sign of the times, perhaps, or just incredible execution in the reveal.
I hope she doesnt get her subs culled by Susan for being brown like Sana :(

Am I late with this?
Apparently there is a heard of women who are mad at Pippa and her guest for calling western Idol LARPers fat and ugly, among other things.

Is it any Niji in general, or NijiEN specifically? I remember Eden-gumi having a pretty strong launch too, but not if it was to that extent.

I wonder if Vshoujo would endorse her private messages to whales and gachis because of the talent freedom shit
That would be interesting to find out, since I'm sure Vale and Veibei give special treatment.
As a side tangent, what's with Asian women and water sports? I'm not sure if Airi is an Asian but the number of Asian women I've interactive with who are into watersports has convinced me that there's a pattern. Has anyone else notice this or am I just surrounded by freaks?
No you're right. It's simply because in Japan (and SEA I believe) watersports is one of the bigger "not talked about" fetishes in the AV world, so culture wise yeah they'll seemingly be more open towards it compared to many other places, so higher chance of running into people open to it.

She's climbing (and maintaining) pretty strongly, so ignoring Salome, of course, she is indeed one of the fastest Niji In general (let alone EN) to hit that milestone pretty quickly.

Current #1 is, unsurprisingly, Hyakumantenbara Salome, who reached 100K subs a few hours after her debut. Before that was Leos Vincent of Eden-gumi, who reached 100K the day after his debut.

So yes, it's any Niji in general, barring an eleventh hour Susan'ing.

Oh, so that's why. Thanks for the info.

You can't stop the Latina domination , we are going to surpass the Koreans and the swagapinos in the anime market

She does actually seem to have caught the ES fans based on what I've seen. Would be interesting to see how she does.

Do you have that long ass last name memorized scuttle?
Of course. I watch her whenever I have the chance to and it's hard to forget when you understand the puns.

If your comment was instead about my hate of The Beatles I stand by what I said and feel no need to justify my views.
I mean that you are blind if you can't see a parallel between The Beatles and 90's boy bands to Idol culture. They become more than musicians and they go into TV, running PSAs and other shit. And you also get some of the really retarded fan behavior/stalker. Selena was also a similar example of this.

Good. Sometimes you need an animated pink rabbit girl to tell you how shit you are. Ask Ethan Ralph.

I guess OrangeWoman is mad

>"you don't belong in the X community"
>t.person who has nothing to do with X community and is just a hanger-on or secondary

Put her to the sword, inshallah.
Prime examples of why gatekeeping is a good thing, and the only way to keep your community safe from these fucking pests.

I think Pippa meant that Lia was propped up to be the one that would probably appeal to a more general audience while the others would have a more niche audience. Personally, I think Uruka is the one that holds that mantle. Lia has some self-confidence issues that are really holding her back.
Ironically it's the niche (or in Nousagi's words, "unconventional") tubers that are currently carrying the company.

Also Great O-Kahn continues to preach the way of vtubing
The bit where he was in US trying to show Gura and Miko playing WWE 2K to American wrestlers before a match is hilarious. The image of this big japanese dude trying to explain to two western wrestlers what's so entertaining about watching an anime girl dressed as a shark play a wrestling video game as a naked version of herself while fighting a bunch of other weird anime girls is perfect. I can picture the look on their faces as he's like "no I swear, this is fucking hilarious!" and they're like "bro, can we just do the wrestling already, man?" Good shit.

Wasn't there a twitter trend where dozens if not maybe a hundred of small western idols showed pics of of themselves as some sort of empowerment? Most of them looked about average with a few cute outliers. Maybe the fattys just decided to not participate in that.

It's the brown SEAs that are into that weird shit. Never had that problem with Korean women and don't know enough japs to compare.

This story actually become even funnier if you look at his travel pictures while in his Vegas: riding a dick-shaped bull ride, posing with hookers/nude dancers, posing getting spanked at that heart attack restaurant
