That makes sense. So they were far too slow in trying to subvert the institution, and they hardened it.
Pretty much.
The one real advantage to legalizing weed on the federal level is that it clears the way to allowing marijuana businesses to be banked, which makes life easier for everyone.

Source: represented several clients in the legal weed business that had to do pretty much everything in cash.

That said, I'm ambivalent about legalization, having grown up in what more than one professional has described as a "drug house" that included retail operations.
If you're independent or part of a small LLP, how the hell is them paying you in cash bad?
Looks like the Feds finally got around to do something about the obvious double-standard. Can't let people's disbelief stretch too far just yet.

Trump just wrapped his Florida rally and damned if wasn't nearly identical to AZ last night. He did digress into killing ISIS that he didn't last night. It was accurate, yet funny. At least in the sense he put his trust in those on the scene, rather than Miley faggots.

9.5 stars. Can we pleeeeeze put him back in charge of the ShitShow?

Can't do anything electronically. It's hard to do any kind of industrial purchasing. Taxes become a bitch.
Funny thing about cash payments: they're hilariously easy to underreport on both ends. Cash tips for servers are almost never reported at their actual value as taxable income. My old man loved working for the marijuana businesses as an attorney down in SoCal since they were steady supplemental income (he had other sources of income, thankfully) that didn't need to go through a bank.

He totally shouldn't do this...but you can't say it wouldn't be fitting.

He went in that direction last night. Citing how much money he lost while being president and under constant attack. It's more butt-tons of money than I'll ever know (most likely me and all my retard frens in this thread).

But he didn't snivel about it. Basically said it's worth every penny if we can get this country back on track.

Imagine a politician that cares ZERO about his net worth and instead thinks he's helping the country.

Phew. Mind blown.

Of all the aspersions one can cast on Trump, the idea that he pursued the Presidency to make money is among the most absurd. Nigga’s in his 70’s and his whole family is loaded, if it’s more money he wanted, there are way easier and less stressful ways to get it. If he wanted to he could be spending his retirement golfing at one of the resorts he owns.

So why doesn't he? Legit question. Instead, he's spending a fortune to make America great again. And doing a damn fine job of it. Where's the payoff in this other than pure ego? He's not doing it for money, having forfitted his total salary as Prez.

Trump believes and is on a mission. I wish him complete success in this journey.

They gave them Roe v Wade, and that was one of their big questing beasts, was it not?

Ironically, I think Biden might've done more with that than Trump did, albeit in a very roundabout and unintentional way.

Trump appointed three of these justices but RvW was one of those pet wedge issues that was kept around as a "white whale" to help in keeping the status quo.

Keep in mind that John fucking Roberts voted to strike Roe v. Wade down despite being a notorious fence-sitting neocon and an IRL Hermes Conrad when it comes to bullshit bureaucratic and legal technicalities.

Roberts is also the same guy who pushed harder against SCOTUS taking up any 2020 election-related cases pre-Inauguration than any of the liberal justices.

From what I gather (and I think @Gehenna can back me up on this one) it seems Biden's crew and the DNC didn't hold up their end of the bargain or at the very least, a lot of the checks bounced. Buyer's remorse kicked in badly on the RINO and mercenary neocon side, not enough to embrace the populists but enough that they're not as cozy with the DNC compared to two years ago.

For similar reasons, we're now seeing SCOTUS going apeshit as of late and choosing to pick up cases like Roe v. Wade that previously wouldn't even be considered.

Oh ho man, once the interracial and sodomy laws start going on the docket, we're gonna REALLY see some shit.

The same reason golden age industrialists did charity and patronized the arts. Legacy.

Politicians are literally making bank off insider trading, and everyone agrees it's bad, yet the gov cucks keep doing it. And we keep seeing them do it.

That Obama wannabe, Ossoff, pushed to ban it and Pelosi signed on for points. Trump could've done it, but him actually doing like that would open up a fresh can of left-wing conspiracies against him that what his tenure provided.

If Trump had stopped insider trading then he would have been straight up murdered, Secret Service be damned.

I'll maintain that you shouldn't take Roberts voting to strike Roe down as anything more than an opportune fair-weather voting thing. He knew the votes were going ahead in favour of striking Roe down no matter what he did. He might have put the votes in, but then spent nine pages of joining opinion to finger wag at the courts for not limiting the scope of the decision. It's not the behaviour of someone who willingly voted for this.

More than anything, I feel like Roberts crossed the bench precisely because he was pissed at the leaks and wanted to make sure his message was heard. "Stop fucking around, or I'll sicc Thomas on you lot."
