These tags are popular/common and used to push the comics to the front of the trending page. these comics will also show up if people follow said tags, even if they aren't following the blog itself. what most people don't realize is that only the first five tags are used for parsing in this scenario, and only the first twenty will show up in the search function.

If we're strictly following the asian artist and why she only talks about her mom, asian moms tend to be tiger moms heavily involved in their kids lives and the dads tend to be passive or sort of just there following whatever the wife does. Asian dads are typically out working all the time and don't have the energy to handle that and leave it to their wives.
