Magni flirting with copyright

drawing art of Sonic shouldn't trigger copyright bs right? Considering that SEGA also okay'd Korone is be an official affiliate/rep of the Sonic IP too
Man honestly out of the debuts this week I quite enjoyed magni the most. He already is showing to be a lovable bastard and loves to be a troll with things. I honestly can't wait to future streams of him messing with the other talents and do meme content.

All in all, feels like a bunch of people here are overreacting (as expected), not gonna lie. Definitely gotta say that Aia really does feel like a potential time bomb, if not what people doomposted Nina will be (although the way she presented was objectively great), and Aster feels like he doesn't have a whole lot of personality (not to mention that he has the shittiest grill voice out of any of the other guys who tried doing it); would definitely be concerned about them.

Still, Maria is neat and feels like she'll be even better once she gets more comfortable, Kyo made up for the fairly bland presentation with his energy, the main issue Scarle had was her shit connection (anything else is either different tastes in content or flatout seething), and Ren nailed the chill vibe.

All in all, will probably do a hard skip on Aster, possibly pass on Ren due to preferences, check out Aia later down the line (if she doesn't fuck herself over by then), and check out Maria/Kyo/Scarle more actively. This is also your 78th reminder that debuts usually mean nothing in the long run, and the same Vtuber can feel drastically different once they get comfortable doing their thing and start showing themselves off more. Regardless of how you felt about any of the Stars or Nijis over the weekend, definitely at least consider checking out a stream (or even clips) from them a month or so from now.

TL;DR, there were ups and downs as with Stars, woah

This is honestly the only thing I don't get, since none of the "timebombs" incorporate it into their content, which is why Finana gets so much shit because she just OUTRIGHT shoots herself and then her content suffers. Only thing I can peg wrong with Aia is if you hate anyone who is Bi/other since it's pretty clear she's just playing into her kayfabe. Her roommate was pretty...nothing special that would raise red flags similar to what people found about Nina.

My opinion is the same.

Maria is pretty cute. She was nervous as hell but it's understandle and I really liked her vibes. I expected Kyo to be pretty shit, but he's very normal. Nothing offensive in his debut. Aia was pretty forgettable. Aster I couldn't bear to listen to because of all the hewwo's and subbies. Scarle was the resident debut fuck up of the wave which was pretty sad. She seems nice and more of a sistuber than anything. Ren was the star of the show in my opinion. He is the embodiment of 2010 and knowing his pl that kind of makes sense.

I don't take niji debuts too seriously because we get 35 minutes with them and I am of the opinion that you can't really get to know someone in half an hour. I'll tune into their 2.0s and keep an eye on them for a month.

She was pretty insistent in showing her allegiances both before and during the debut. With this much effort, I think she can only double down. It'll be interesting to watch as long as you aren't too invested in nijiEN, I guess.
EDIT: It's also possible that she's inserting gender ideology to compensate for perceived lack of other qualities. Only time will tell.

You know, I thought I wanted more chuubas who genuinely like weird things, are unapologetic, and don't just put the same 10 things in all of their favorites categories, but uh, not like this. Not like this my dudes.

We'll just have to see if we get a Nina redemption arc, or an Uki "Gay is my personality" again.

I remember this thread dunking on Ethyria for pages and pages because they didn't like their debuts.

Worst that can happen as far as this place goes is that people who don't watch NijiEN will continue to not watch NijiEN; I say this for every debut because the last three have been received like this.
I may be wrong, but I thought most of the Ethyria shitting was Nina for "honey" being every other word out of her mouth. Which thank god that was nerves and she was able to kick that habit.
I'd thought otherwise we were lukewarm to Reimu, but all loved Enna and Millie (me being a fan of Lyrica I loved her immediately).

Also, Jesus. Magni. The banter is great. And the fact he's coming out talking about stuff behind the scenes so unabashed is surprising for day 3.

Yep. Since for as far as they tend to go, even EN management knows going on about (actual) politics and religions is a dumb idea.
