Tl;dr: it sucks
First, let’s acknowledge that poetry doesn’t have to feature a narrative or follow any particular rhyme scheme, meter or structure in order to have literary merit. Usually a writer will choose to work with at least one of those elements, especially an inexperienced writer who doesn’t know the rules in order to break them correctly, but it’s not necessary. The complete lack of these (he might be attempting a narrative, I’m saying it’s not one) is not what makes these poems awful—let’s explore what does
The first one:
just stupid, in lots of ways.
The speaker begins with the admission that he’s away from the object of his affection as “tulips always remind me…of how far apart we are”, and that he’s a “stranger in a strange land”. So right off the bat it’s established he and object are far apart, and that one out of 11 lines wasn’t even written by him—sticking a cliche or a reference (which it is depends on his intent, which isn’t clear) into a work without doing anything clever with it in any way is bad writing, IMO. And as he persists, so will we.
In the second stanza, he suggests he’s at the start of a maze and nearer to object with “there is only forward into the maze/away from safety”. He was already far from object per the first stanza. He’s already gone, it’s already not safe, that’s what makes him a “stranger in a strange land” and why tulips reminded him of object, because he’s far away, right? So, it’s either redundant or contradictory.
And the monster, is that the destiny he speaks of and what he’s going into the labyrinth to meet? Is the maze calling him, or is it the monster? If the monster is his transition, that’s actually a pretty apt metaphor, but I kind of doubt that’s his intent. So what the monster is exactly is unclear; we just don’t know enough to deduce that. Does it matter?
Well, sort of, because without any clue of what the monster may be a metaphor for, it feels out of the blue and it tells us nothing about anything, nor does it provoke any thought beyond “I guess the monster is bad”. If it’s not supposed to be a metaphor at all, is it literal? What kind of monster is it? Why does he need to meet it? Is the monster his destiny or is slaying it his destiny? there’s nothing from the rest of the poem that would allow us to make any educated guesses on any of these matters.

And they wonder why people (mostly straight men) don't like them? It's because of the little ways they're trying to force themselves onto people, like the dating app thing for example. I, and the vast majority of other straight men, don't want to see trannies.
A while ago I embarrassingly went on a date with a troon from one of these apps. It wasn't immediately apparent they were trans and they never disclosed this to me either. The second I showed up to the date and heard their voice (effeminate/gay man voice) I was furious and left. Like okay you had me fooled I guess, but you pretty much violated me by hiding this information from me. It was saddening because they were cool/nice enough that I would have considered being friends, but the outright lie about something so crucial wasn't something I could forgive. It's bullshit and I'm sick of these people.
