The thing that will hurt Trump in the general, but maybe not the primary, is continuing to re-litigate the Stolen Election. It resonates with his base, but the swing vote wants to move on already and it's not like there's not already a plethora of reasons to prefer Trump to Biden. By far Independents list election fraud whining as their biggest turnoff to voting Trump.
He could waltz into office on a smug "miss me yet?" platform, if he could temporarily put aside his resentment about being cheated out of an election for two years and then enact reprisals against the swamp once in office. But I doubt he'll do it.
If Trump doesn't keep harping on election security he doesn't have a chance to win in 2024. Without the pressure from Trump many states wouldn't have had the political capital to secure elections. It has the added benefit to expose uniparty agents that will stab him in the back.

idk, with the speeches he's been doing, it's enough to get any average american motivated to police the ballots themselves rather than "professionals", especially with what we've seen them do in 2020 with re-scanning the same votes, leaving their computers unsecured, and doing sneaky shit when they think no one is looking.

I highly doubt the ballot box companies are going to get away with bordering up their windows a second time and NOT have an angry mob go "fuck no" and stop them the instant it happens.

I would say, mention the 2020 election in passing, but don't have it be the main focus of reelection. Talk about the recession, the rising crime, hell, even SHOW raw footage of the DNC showing no consideration for the American people.

Exactly. They took advantage of a 100 year pandemic just breaking out and people being afraid because of it to rig the election. Public doubt regarding the election is widespread enough that the 1/6 hearings are only appealing to a subset of a subset of the Democrat base, let alone the general voting populace.

They aren't going to be able to pull another COVID out of a hat to justify doing all the emergency voting measures again, the public's more wary about election fraud than ever and the states where they previously massaged the voting totals are going to be even more vigilant. Everyone keeps forgetting that after a state gets embroiled in a controversial election, they usually have incredibly by-the-book elections for the next few cycles. You didn't hear shit about fraud in Florida in the 2004 election. Same for Ohio in 2008, even though it was still a swing state instead of fully red. Because no one likes being the center of a national controversy over election results.

But usually it's 1 or maybe 2 states that raise eyebrows. This election had 6 (AZ, GA, WI, PA, NV, MI), and all but I think Nevada and Michigan had some reform bills pass. Thinking 2020 means that ballot printing is going to easily happen forever and that Trump should consequently make it a centerpiece of his campaign is both strategically unwise and reductive thinking.

Personally, if one uses Breitbart as a source, I'm disregarding it as trash.
Show once they were wrong on a factual column. Their opinion columns are very right wing and one or two of the columnists are nutso (Ann Coulter), but they're pretty mainstream on the news.

If you want a CNN source, go find it yourself.

Fun fact! While this statement is a great example of doublespeak, it's more specifically a great example of gobbledygook.
Gobbledygook involves speaking in a convoluted way that is so confusing as to be incomprehensible. It often pairs nonsense with information that would make sense on its own or combines other types of doublespeak with additional confusing or deceptive messages. Gobbledygook tends to include big words — many times used incorrectly — and long sentences that are difficult, if not impossible, to follow or understand.
Congratulations! You (possibly) have learned something new, and as such, are now overqualified to write for the White House about our current recession.

Just in time to enforce the Administration’s definition of a recession.

I still think the 2008 recession never really ended.

(If true, there has been 14 years of recession now.)
I've mentioned this before, but 2008 was a global depression that was turned into a recession due to the fact that, unlike with Hoover and 1929's Black Friday, Bush II and Obama moved VERY QUICKLY to mitigate as much of the damage as they could to avoid a full global financial Gotterdammerung.

The end result was a global recession that still fucked a LOT of shit up until Obama and company (and the GOP) tacitly agreed to stop talking about it and sweep it under the rug after Obama got re-elected. Presumably because the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street propped up and triggered the uniparty so badly that after a while, it was in everyone's interest to squash populist anger over the damage the recession was doing and pretend the Recession was over. When in truth, all sorts of voodoo was being done in private to prop up the global economy.

It's one of the best and worst things about guys like Trump. Their ego rules them. Easy to predict and easy to use/manipulate for better or ill.
From the way things are going, looks like history is about to rhyme......
We are gonna get a Reagan/Andrew Jackson hybrid and it will be glorious!
