No, it's not people interacting with him, he needs people simply heaping praise on him or talking shit about trolls.

It's all part of how Phil works to create an illusion of success rather than actually doing it. On the surface he has a wife, nice house, higher end car, and his job is playing video games all day, with a fat youtube check.

Below the surface it's all superficial - his wife he literally married to have a wife but otherwise they're practically strangers in their own home, said home is full of worthless junk Phil largely doesn't care about and a cat, he hates driving so having a nice car is hardly better than having a PoS clunker that could serve the same purpose for how little he or Kat drives, and he's living paycheck to paycheck because of his own life choices and addictions.

And of course, Phil's actual personal life is shit, too. He's got a bunch of famous books and movies, but like the library in The Great Gatsby it's all for show and the one who owns them doesn't actually use them for entertainment. All he does is get stoned, maybe watch half naked men grope each other...and that's it. Literally no friends he can even talk or hang out with, a married life where the two parties couldn't be less interested in each other, and nothing he likes to do in his freetime away from the camera besides the aforementioned drinking and watching WWE. Even WWEC itself isn't really a pastime, given Phil's at the level where all you do in the game is press two buttons for the game to auto-play itself for you. It's literally a NFT collector at this point, except Phil doesn't even get to keep the images.

Its little wonder he badly wants his chat to 'interact' with him, really that's the only external validation he gets that his life choices up to this point have not collectively rendered him trapped in a gilded cage of his own making ,where he has everything he could ever want is and utterly miserable for it.

Apparently he knows the lyrics to "Deep in The Heart of Texas". Imagine if he had moved to Texas all those years ago, he would would have turned into lard by now with all the heat. Although it is amusing to think about a universe where piggy is minutes away from good ol' Marlin. Also goes on break complaining about the slow chat. "It feels like I'm playing the game by myself." Maybe you shouldn't have your chat locked down worse than North Korea, you moron.

Supercard he played for... what, a year before he quit? It was probably easier to cut ties with it when you're not as invested, even though he did admit to spending lots of money on it. Champions he's been playing for years, never misses a login day, has no doubt spent six figures on it at this point. He's so "pot committed" at this point that walking away means all of it was for nothing, and he wants to have every jpeg in that game so he can't stop now.

There's always a lot of talk of how one day Scopely will shut the game down, but I honestly don't think that's going to happen for a while. Given that he's never even the biggest spender on any of the events that happen, it goes to show that there are plenty of not-so-bright wrestling fans with way too much disposable income to throw away on this game. Hell, seeing the deteriorating state of Phil's health and gin-addled brain, I'd go so far to say that the game could potentially outlive HIM.

This brings up another good thing to mention: Phil gets his e-beg money from literal retards. This is the people he surrounded himself with. Not interesting chatters but literal derich's that make normal people not want to engage because of the pure autism that is his chat. So he can't win in any regard.

Why do the writers keep blue balling us with the wwe champions arc? I just want to see piggy cry about his dirty little secret being revealed again and again.

That's what gets me the most about his "interaction" begs. He derives his narcissistic supply from being praised by literal wheelchairs. Does he not realize the people cheering him on all have obvious mental issues? Does he just not care?

Like you'd think a narcissist would prefer high praise, not golfclaps from dentheads. Narcissistic supply usually requires a certain quality: it needs to come from what the narcissist deems "good people" and it needs to be sincere.

Makes me wonder if his view of other people is so distorted and diminutive, owing to narcissism combined with extreme social isolation, that he actually thinks ordinary people are like his denthead audience and he's better than the average person so that's why he's "different".

Phil has never cared for anyone besides himself. All he sees is open wallets and people who can make his audience look bigger than it actually is. I think we know more about Phil’s audience than he does.
