Very Bizzare, as far as we know this doesn't have to do with any other cases we've forgotten about does it? Maybe this is "Based Sam"'s Hail Mary to make him not look like a total piece of shit to a judge and jury? Gonna take a little more than 30 hours of picking up beer cans that he probably tossed to begin with off the side of the interstate to get some goodwill for RALPH of all people, but then again what do I know?

Very likely it’s some whole other cluster fuck is going on. Something has him very spooked. Hides out for a month, announces he’s moving, suddenly says he’s going to pay child support, and is going to do community service.

If he’s got to do community service he won’t be moving very far away any time soon. I’d say he’s just trying to move across state lines because he’s scared he’s going to end up in jail in Virginia very soon. His latest class 1 misdemeanor seemed to freak him out extra hard.

That sounds about right. If he escapes a suspended license I would be surprised. In many states, a reckless driving usually results in

1) fine
2) loss of license for 30 days

Each state is different of course. And he likely traded community service in place of a fine or in place of losing his license.

Didn't I tell everyone he wasn't going to jail for this? Pretty sure I did.

@Capt. Jean Luc Ritard your attorney attorney contacts the court and gets the deal. That's how you know ahead of time. If its not until next month, there's q chance its not accepted. But I doubt it.

If it's related to the most recent case, the court website doesn't yet indicate that case has been resolved.

It could be from the 2021 speeding case. Or even the 2019 hit and run where he was also charged with contempt of court, although that's less likely.

Ralph did community service for a charge he hasn’t faced yet? That’s a new one.

Sounds like there is another charge somewhere else - perhaps he got done speeding in another county (Moscow) after he got the reckless driving charge.

My bet is his lawyer has told him shape the fuck up right now and beg for mercy or come to terms with the inevitable jail time if he doesn’t convince the judge he is a changed man.

It is our duty to provide the prosecutor and judge with every video of him in control of a vehicle and using his cellphone to show the judge it is all an act that he has changed.
