So whats the consensus? Was she moving to avoid stalkers (voice sounded like hers and gave her an excuse to stop streaming and possibly move house), does she legit believe in this stuff/possible mental illness, or is it just kayfabe and her wanting a break? The scenario is just weird since she was the biggest person in HoloX.
Wasnt she living with Lui? So many chuubas that I cant even keep up with them anymore.
That plan never materialized I forget why
I'm not sure how much of it was a joke or not but Lui seemed disgusted by how Chloe lived so she was halfway between wanting to take her in just to make sure she cleaned her pussy and half not wanting to deal with it. Again, could be coomer kayfabe, but maybe the hawk just didn't want that headache in the end.
HoloX house timeline, from my recall of clips and streams:
- Sakamata's grandma passes away
- Lui and Sakamata discuss living together and turn it into an on-stream bit
- In later streams they both pump the brakes; "haha ok but fr it might or might not happen"
- In April Lui says offhand in an English zatsudan that they would live separately. At the time she was talking about cats vs dogs. Sakamata has a dog and is allergic to cats. Lui would like to have a cat and seems traumatised by dogs. I doubt that's the only or even a major reason they chose not to cohabit, but it's there.
- Sakamata moves into the haunted house. Lui has not (yet) moved to my knowledge.
About the haunted house - Sakamata has claimed that mane-chan has been to her house and was also disturbed. Ask Towa how invoking managers in your kayfabe works out. Regardless of whether there's a natural explanation for the haunting, the simplest explanation for the way Sakamata has been acting is that they all believe it (Sakamata, mane-chan, and Lui when she stayed overnight). Remember they are Japanese.
I'm just happy I can listen to whale song again.
Well...what makes hags amazing? why do you love em?
To answer seriously: more life experience. So they're more socially adept (e.g. Botan's thoughts on Rust) and have a different range of stories to tell (e.g. Botan's griefing in Rust, Vesper's plastic ball). Age also adds a layer of comedy when they act like dorks (see above; see also Vesper's dad jokes and boomering his way through Twitter). I mention Vesper because he's an EFL example of a hag, albeit male (hence oji love).
[The Disappearance of Amatsuka Uto]
Fair, this seems a lot more reasonable. And I better understand you as this seems more thought out. Also while I understand the behavior I want to say I do think it was messed up and wrong and I hope she explains what happened and apologizes. I want to make it clear that understanding why someone did something is not excusing the behavior. I do think that she should've explained at least a little bit about why she was gone and why she'd be absent; she could've done that in March stream. " just reeks of unprofessionalism," Unprofessionalism and paranoia I'd say.
Adding on to this with something I said the last time masterstocking asked if anyone knew how Uto was doing. At least Nakiri-gumi know that Cover or the Holos would speak up if Ayame was in actual danger of not coming back. Pikamee and Ironmouse and Pomu also have associates. Even Kson had a manager (pre-VShojo, and she still retains her services). Who does Uto have? If she doesn't have anyone she can trust to speak on her behalf, that needs to be fixed, regardless of her (justified or unjustified) paranoia.
