That's probably a bit of it, but personally I see a lot of women in their mid 20s who have decent men or could easily get one talking about how much they despise kids, so I don't think it's a cope for all of them. I think it's either they know kids would get in the way of their hedonism/career so they convince themselves they hate them, or they're so fucked up on pills, porn, consoomerism, modern politics, or whatever combination and genuinely view their own potential progeny as an inconvenience. Doesn't really matter which though, either is a severe problem.
