It would be pretty hilarious if she did but I don't think so; his tugboat I believe has been frozen.

I suspect it's been turned off as well due to the bureaucratic incompetence of the Virginia criminal justice system. That said, the money to pay the taxes and mortgage on 14BLC has to be coming from somewhere.

There are three possibilities.
  1. The tugboat has continued and has been accruing in Chris' bank account, minus any automatic payments to credit cards etc.
  2. The tugboat has been shut off, and Chris will have to go through the pain in the ass process to get it turned back on and claim his back tugboat.
  3. The tugboat has continued, but Barb has access to Chris' bank account and has been spending it. Chris will have to sue his own mother / sexual victim to get it back, and good luck with that.
The second two possibilities seem the most likely to me.

If she didn't, the house would have gone under the first stages of foreclosure; it's not like Harriet and Tom would pitch in (maybe?).

The money has to be coming from somewhere. Barb's pension, social security, etc. are probably enough to cover all these bills herself if she's prevented from pissing it all away on the hoard, but we don't know how much to factor in for any medical expenses.

Like Chris, Barb would take more than necessary (they are really alike).

If Barb has unimpeded access to Chris' bank accounts, she will have spent his tugboat. It's not like she would have any moral or ethical impediments to stealing it.

How are you going folks, ready to be disappointed by our institutions yet again ?
My expectations are so low, I can't be disappointed. The only bright spot would be additional charges/time or being held further on some technicality. However, I am sure the jail is ready to boot his sorry ass so someone may even fawn about what a model prisoner he has been so the court will release him. Gonna be an interesting end of the week however it plays out.

What do you think the chances are he's going to go to a secluded halfway house early in the morning and blows his own cover by breaking out and hitchhiking with a passing motorist who lets him use his cell phone to "call for help" ?

A cross-country ween-funded adventure would be amazing to witness
You know it looks more glamorous when it's presented in video, but I could see Chris living out in some beater van.

His bed a tattered mess of sheets. Surrounded with his hoard of goodies strewn about and on makeboard shelves bolted to the wall. With a TV precariously mounted and crappy insulation all around. He'd be driving the rust bucket to the nearest McD's for food and wifi. Probably getting into a car wreck or wasting all his money on Legos instead of fuel. Thereby freezing to death.

The issue I see is that it looks quite uncomfortable to live on the road and Chris doesn't have the know-how on vehicle maintenence.

If a franchise or landlord feels bad enough (or scummy, depends on the situation) I've seen the less fortunate live out in self storage containers. Hell, I knew one guy who lived in a 9 by 12 that was climate controlled (for sensitive stored goods), but that's probably going to be slim to none.

If Chris did this, he is truly a more filthier, least successful Jimmy Savile (Savile rode around in an RV in his early career).

Chris did want to stay in a hotel, rather than his own car for one night, and Chris does freak out during car issues (see Ohio trip and one of the conventions).

The other way they can keep him in jail longer than a year without an indictment is if they have brought more misdemeanor charges, on the grounds that they would be served consecutively, however by Virginia law that would require that the charges be for more than one distinct act (In Virginia you cannot sentence on multiple charges for one act, it's basically double jeopardy, but slightly stronger than the US constitution guarantee as it doesn't require that the requirements of one charge be entirely encompasssed by another.
They could also have him civilly committed, but without a sex crime charge, he'd be judged by the same standards as someone out of jail and they'd have to prove he was an imminent threat to self or others, i.e. it isn't going to happen, and if he was that nuts he'd still be in Western, not jail.

I suppose he could pull a nuclear level meltdown in court.

So he drove around with his rape room with him.

I hope they send him to a tard home and he's furious when he realizes he's surrounded by tards, and they tell him he's just another tard to them, too.

and much like his time at PVCC, the time Chris spent at Western was for nothing. Heilberg bet on the wrong horse, if this ends up happening. I hope he get's a permanent stay at Western.

Some time ago I mentioned a Law and Order episode. I think it may happen, but instead of getting frustrated, Chris gets into a hedge defense pose.

Funny that, I think I mentioned the nonzero chance of a hedgehog defensive mode incident almost a year ago. The closest we've gotten is the whining and foot stamping from last year

I may be wrong here, but as Chris’s long time primary ummm what’s the term? caregivers? tard wranglers? Owners? Doesn’t the tugboat go directly to his parents account? That was the whole thing about him violating the protective order and pulling money from Barb’s account. He claimed it was his money. It’s from the tugboat. The state pays the parents to feed clothe and try to keep the village Idiot off the streets. Otherwise Chris would blow it on Transformers and Tranny Hookers.

If Barbara was so out of it in 2017 and 2018 that she... spoke... like... this... she simply wouldn't be capable of briskly hopping in a car and driving off several years later, period. Dementia is complicated but it does operate by a certain set of rules and logic. The progression goes faster during the later years of the illness than the earlier ones. If she was actually that disoriented 4-5 years ago, she would likely be a bedridden vegetable now. At best, she would still be incapable of driving, and her movements and decision-making wouldn't be speedy or brisk - people with advanced dementia are very slow to make any kind of decision due to their heavy confusion.
No one seems to have pointed out that Chris was the main driver of the house for years before, and Barb only started driving again BECAUSE Chris went to jail. She could have had her keys and license taken away in 2016 for all we know. Forgetting that and driving anyway is EXACTLY what you would expect from a non attended Alzheimer's patient.

The stupid "Barb can drive so she's all there!" argument falls apart when you take into account that she GOT IN A CAR CRASH THAT ALMOST KILLED HER! She shouldn't have been driving, she probably did lose her driving capability years ago, case closed.

If she had she'd have received a ticket for that and not just for the moving violation.

If Chris was any smart, he would have bought either a van or an RV years ago and kept it working. A reasonably priced one could have gotten him enough comfort and prevented him from going homeless, and a nice enough van would be enough to cater to most of his needs except showering, which could be done at truck stops. Chris could make a living by moving around from place to place, using Starlink or some other mobile internet provider to keep himself online and selling his merch, he could simply use various postal offices across the U.S. to ship them, if he had someone handling his finances to prevent him from going without fuel or to stop him from failing to pay taxes and the like he would be living the dream!

She might have fucked up, but it seems she didn't cause the accident. All it takes is some asshole on the road driving wildly to cause an accident, I myself almost got into one thanks to a fucking pile of horseshit who decided to play Need for Speed on a fucking residential street at midnight!

Her age isn't enough to say she's surely senile, there are people who stay mentally sharp until much longer and others who start failing way before their 80's. She looks like it and probably has mental issues considering her hoarding, narcissism and overall manipulative behaviour, which is why it's so difficult to attest her as being senile with the high probability of her faking dementia to get more people to donate money to her. Some decline might be present for sure, but I can't really tell!
