NGL, the sounds pretty ballin. Since I'm already an underwater creature, I'd gladly accept that kid as my Fish King.
@Koby_Fish,
@A Very Big Fish how about you two?
Absofrickingloutely. Kid's underwater fantasy world sounds great. Certainly a million times better than Bob's insane
Care Bears, but Paradise Lost pitch.
You son of a bitch, I'm in.
What the big fish said.
Bob is a fantasist the same way Elon Musk is a project manager. He just throws random bullshit out into the world and expects other people to do something with it for him. In Musk's case, it's because he actually does have people to make his Hyperloop an underwhelming reality for him. In Bob's case, it's because he's lazy. Taking an idea and writing it out and refining it take time and effort. That's time he could be spending on Twitter.
I'd love to see Bob attempt National Novel Writing Month. All he'd have to do is churn out 2000 words a day of a novel for 30 days in a row. It could be his Care Bears in Paradise Lost abortion idea or a Game Overthinker x Nostalgia Chick slash fic. Could be the most derivative, low-effort trash ever written. NaNoWriMo has no standard for quality. He still couldn't see it through to the end, because a mere 2000 words a day of concentrated creative work would still take too much effort. He'd probably vaguepost about working on "a big new project," lie about finishing it, and never show it to anyone who asked to see it because it was too embarrassing to show them or some such excuse.
I always take those numbers with a grain of salt. From what I've read, the US standard for what's considered literate is higher than the most of the rest of the world. I think for a lot of the world, you're considered literate if you can read and write simple sentences. In the US, that only qualifies as "functionally illiterate" or "functionally literate." You're only considered to have true literacy if you can perform more advanced literacy tasks like prose analysis. There are also a couple of demographics that drag the US average down. You'll never guess which ones.
The problem here is while Bob
thinks believes he can write, he's too lazy to do it outside of his shitty scripts for MattPatt and his own low-rez low rent vidjas. The stuff he's already written that he's admitted was basically fanfic is bonkers (not in a good way) and is worse than some 14 year old's Harry Potter or Twilight smutfic. Anytime I do run-on sentences it is purely for the lulz or to channel Bob directly. Bob thinks his stream-of-consciousness run-on sentences are either funny or make him seem SMRT. Maybe both. I wonder if some

has ever asked bob about this in a serious way like 'Hey bob how come your sentences run so goddamn long that if your english teacher was still alive they'd give you an F for it?' Though I'm not optimistic for an honest answer other than, "Because it's funny, sport" or a dismissive reply such as, "People who care about being grammar nazis are Not People, therefore You are Not A Person

" or "Ask yer mum, friendo."
Speaking of "Ask yer mum":
A new national crisis is looming, this one of Apocalyptic significance.

I want to see the anthropological evidence that abortion has been a "normal" part of health care too. That methods existed does not mean it was accepted as normal. And I impressed that MOS loves abortion so much: he probably loves abortion more than Lindsay Ellis does.

Bob hasn't learned his lesson yet. Some

needs to reply to this with "Rape Jokes aren't Funny, Bob." Or conversely, "You can't have been with my mum. I'm not a person and neither is she, so you're delusional." Or something like "You can't have been with my mom. She (or My dad) would have shot you already."
Learning empathy from MOVIES? NO NO NO NO NO BOB NO THAT IS NOT HOW YOU LEARN EMPATHY. YOU LEARN EMPATHY FROM THE ADULTS AROUND YOU SUCH AS YOUR PARENTS. If Bob didn't learn empathy from his parents, then the Chipman home is far more fucked up than anybody ever imagined. Bob should have 'learned empathy' long before he even saw a fucking movie of any kind. Also I would argue Bob doesn't actually understand what empathy is and doesn't actually have it.
Also that crack about "I have lots [of empathy]. For People" is stupid in a number of ways. Firstly, because Bob doesn't actually know what empathy means. The way he uses the term makes it clear that he's confused it for
sympathy.
This is the difference between the two concepts:
Bob can't put himself in another person's situation. It's not possible; his ego won't allow it. Therefore, he actually doesn't have empathy. He may have sympathy, like for the darkies, speds, and LGBTLMNOP's etc, but he can't go as far as put himself in their position. The only thing he does that looks like empathy is when he claims the GQP is trying to kill him because he's associated with darkies, speds, and LGBTLMNOP's.
Tell that to the starving PoCs in Sri Lanka, Bob.
Stop, MOS. Moviebob's erection can only get so hard.
Does anyone else find it extremely weird that a gay man loves abortion so much that they'd want pro-lifers who just tell a woman 'hey there's ANOTHER option that doesn't involve risky surgical intervention/drugs' to be thrown in prison for life? I mean with Bob I get it; he's chasing feminist HotDog Abortion poon. A gay man by definition is not doing so and doesn't need to broadcast pro abortion bona fides to get laid. Maybe some

should tell MOS to settle down, Moviebob is not going to have abortions with him.
Bob also conflates "ignorance" and "stupidity". He obviously doesn't know that ignorance is fixable (to the extent a person is willing to learn, anyway). Stupidity is forever. Ignorance isn't evil.
This gif is from the movie
The Last Unicorn. Molly Grue, the human pictured here, is upset because she's seeing a Unicorn for the first time not as a young maiden, but as an older woman. This is the relevant clip in question:
So yeah, this is basically Bob at least faking outrage that the Loch Ness Monster might actually be legit now, when he's 40something, rather than when he was a kid.
Also, as a person who's actually played both Axis and Allies AND Risk, I will guarantee you Bob's never played A&A, and probably only Risk on the NES/SNES rather than the board game version. A&A is more complex and involved than Risk. My friends and I would get out TWO A&A game boards for more players, and thus we'd have "Evil Britain". I guess we were treating the secondary board as a mirror-universe or something, lol. Bob wouldn't even have enough friends to play a real game of Risk, let alone a regular game of A&A.
I think someone pointed it out in one of the many Roe v. Wade overturn threads, but one need only look back at
the Hippocratic Oath to poke holes in the "we've always done abortions" argument. Relevant passage:
I'll be fair and say that not every society's physicians would have followed the Oath or even been aware of it, and even those who swore the Oath may have still chosen to perform an abortion anyway. But when the fundamental ethical statement for medical care explicitly states that you should not induce an abortion through physical or pharmaceutical means, that suggests to me that the idea of abortion being a widespread and accepted medical procedure is in fact bullshit. Just because it happened doesn't mean society at large was okay with it.
And then meanwhile you have absolute batshit crazies like the user formerly known as MOS, who want to throw people in jail forever if they don't think abortions are a good thing. Remind me again which side is full of unhinged lunatics? Sure doesn't look like the Thinkers are sending their best.
I mean, I'm pretty sure that since he was born about 400 years
before Christ, Hippocrates
wasn't a Christian. And I'm pretty sure the regular Greek paganism wasn't the cause of this opposition to abortion, either. I'm pretty sure on the whole, Hippocrates was a Thinker.
