Given Moviebob is a bootlicker who'd gladly the rest of its life on all fours for political favors, I'm genuinely surprised Bob didn't write "...it was more important to [...] just as critical as Obama (hallowed be his name)..."

Moviebob's empathy account has a zero balance. It's been that way for years.

My guess is that the bulk of Moviebob's knowedge about married life comes from watching reruns of Married... With Children.

Big difference between good feminism and evil feminism: Good feminism treats men and women with equal responsibilities, equal rewards, and equal repurcussions; evil feminism (to which Moviebob strongly adheres) wants women treated as superiors without taking responsibilities for their actions.

Okay, first what is with fat ass and Warhammer lately. Secondly "Hitler and Stalin were allies" what in the shit-sucking fuck are you talking about, you brainless fucktard of humanity?! What resources did the USSR give Nazi Germany?! Fucking hell, USSR had an agreement with France in case Germany went after Poland, and Czechoslovakia, France would provide aid and those fucks did jack shit. Heck, the only reason the Molotov and Rebentrop pact was because Stalin knew they needed time to prepare because Hitler would still go after the USSR. Fucking hell, do these retards even read books?
Funnier is Bob's aside in that:
1658901787790.png

Stalin, who was a murderous criminal from day one and had already perpetrated a genocide, didn't "turn out so great either on a long enough timeline" as if everyone at the time didn't know this and the Allies decision wasn't to take advantage of the invasion of the Soviet Union against the then greater evil. The bet, which turned out correct, was that we could contain and beat the Soviets. The immediate need was freeing Europe even if we could only get half of it. If there was an obvious way to bog down the Soviets and Nazi both within the Soviet Union until the Allies could get to the backside of the Nazis I'm sure we would have tried it but it's not something you just risk in a global war. None of this requires you to pretend Stalin was an unknown.

But antitrust law applies to all mergers? The DoJ did perform an antirust review for WarnerDiscovery? And the Trump Administration did hold up the AT&T/Time Warner merger for nearly two years and probably contributed mightily to its failure? Why is Bob like this?

I want to see the anthropological evidence that abortion has been a "normal" part of health care too. That methods existed does not mean it was accepted as normal. And I impressed that MOS loves abortion so much: he probably loves abortion more than Lindsay Ellis does.
I think someone pointed it out in one of the many Roe v. Wade overturn threads, but one need only look back at the Hippocratic Oath to poke holes in the "we've always done abortions" argument. Relevant passage:
I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion.
I'll be fair and say that not every society's physicians would have followed the Oath or even been aware of it, and even those who swore the Oath may have still chosen to perform an abortion anyway. But when the fundamental ethical statement for medical care explicitly states that you should not induce an abortion through physical or pharmaceutical means, that suggests to me that the idea of abortion being a widespread and accepted medical procedure is in fact bullshit. Just because it happened doesn't mean society at large was okay with it.

And then meanwhile you have absolute batshit crazies like the user formerly known as MOS, who want to throw people in jail forever if they don't think abortions are a good thing. Remind me again which side is full of unhinged lunatics? Sure doesn't look like the Thinkers are sending their best.

So is there any dystopian novels or movies that showcases Bob’s superior future?
Back when the movies were coming out, Bob said his main issue with The Hunger Games was that the evil dystopian setting was his ideal form of government and he hated that it was being presented as a bad thing. Said government consists of a strict caste setting, involves segregation, and several sections of the population are trapped in poverty and starvation simply because of the areas they were born. So of course Bob loved it.

@Johan Schmidt's flatmate is the hero this thread deserves.

NGL, the sounds pretty ballin. Since I'm already an underwater creature, I'd gladly accept that kid as my Fish King. @Koby_Fish, @A Very Big Fish how about you two?
Absofrickingloutely. Kid's underwater fantasy world sounds great. Certainly a million times better than Bob's insane Care Bears, but Paradise Lost pitch.
You son of a bitch, I'm in.
What the big fish said.

Bob is a fantasist the same way Elon Musk is a project manager. He just throws random bullshit out into the world and expects other people to do something with it for him. In Musk's case, it's because he actually does have people to make his Hyperloop an underwhelming reality for him. In Bob's case, it's because he's lazy. Taking an idea and writing it out and refining it take time and effort. That's time he could be spending on Twitter.

I'd love to see Bob attempt National Novel Writing Month. All he'd have to do is churn out 2000 words a day of a novel for 30 days in a row. It could be his Care Bears in Paradise Lost abortion idea or a Game Overthinker x Nostalgia Chick slash fic. Could be the most derivative, low-effort trash ever written. NaNoWriMo has no standard for quality. He still couldn't see it through to the end, because a mere 2000 words a day of concentrated creative work would still take too much effort. He'd probably vaguepost about working on "a big new project," lie about finishing it, and never show it to anyone who asked to see it because it was too embarrassing to show them or some such excuse.

I always take those numbers with a grain of salt. From what I've read, the US standard for what's considered literate is higher than the most of the rest of the world. I think for a lot of the world, you're considered literate if you can read and write simple sentences. In the US, that only qualifies as "functionally illiterate" or "functionally literate." You're only considered to have true literacy if you can perform more advanced literacy tasks like prose analysis. There are also a couple of demographics that drag the US average down. You'll never guess which ones.
The problem here is while Bob thinks believes he can write, he's too lazy to do it outside of his shitty scripts for MattPatt and his own low-rez low rent vidjas. The stuff he's already written that he's admitted was basically fanfic is bonkers (not in a good way) and is worse than some 14 year old's Harry Potter or Twilight smutfic. Anytime I do run-on sentences it is purely for the lulz or to channel Bob directly. Bob thinks his stream-of-consciousness run-on sentences are either funny or make him seem SMRT. Maybe both. I wonder if some :epik: has ever asked bob about this in a serious way like 'Hey bob how come your sentences run so goddamn long that if your english teacher was still alive they'd give you an F for it?' Though I'm not optimistic for an honest answer other than, "Because it's funny, sport" or a dismissive reply such as, "People who care about being grammar nazis are Not People, therefore You are Not A Person ™️ " or "Ask yer mum, friendo."

Speaking of "Ask yer mum":

Bob hasn't learned his lesson yet. Some :epik: needs to reply to this with "Rape Jokes aren't Funny, Bob." Or conversely, "You can't have been with my mum. I'm not a person and neither is she, so you're delusional." Or something like "You can't have been with my mom. She (or My dad) would have shot you already."

Learning empathy from MOVIES? NO NO NO NO NO BOB NO THAT IS NOT HOW YOU LEARN EMPATHY. YOU LEARN EMPATHY FROM THE ADULTS AROUND YOU SUCH AS YOUR PARENTS. If Bob didn't learn empathy from his parents, then the Chipman home is far more fucked up than anybody ever imagined. Bob should have 'learned empathy' long before he even saw a fucking movie of any kind. Also I would argue Bob doesn't actually understand what empathy is and doesn't actually have it.

Also that crack about "I have lots [of empathy]. For People" is stupid in a number of ways. Firstly, because Bob doesn't actually know what empathy means. The way he uses the term makes it clear that he's confused it for sympathy.

This is the difference between the two concepts:
1658911045718.png

Bob can't put himself in another person's situation. It's not possible; his ego won't allow it. Therefore, he actually doesn't have empathy. He may have sympathy, like for the darkies, speds, and LGBTLMNOP's etc, but he can't go as far as put himself in their position. The only thing he does that looks like empathy is when he claims the GQP is trying to kill him because he's associated with darkies, speds, and LGBTLMNOP's.

1658911423524.png

Tell that to the starving PoCs in Sri Lanka, Bob.

1658911644310.png

Stop, MOS. Moviebob's erection can only get so hard.
Does anyone else find it extremely weird that a gay man loves abortion so much that they'd want pro-lifers who just tell a woman 'hey there's ANOTHER option that doesn't involve risky surgical intervention/drugs' to be thrown in prison for life? I mean with Bob I get it; he's chasing feminist HotDog Abortion poon. A gay man by definition is not doing so and doesn't need to broadcast pro abortion bona fides to get laid. Maybe some :epik: should tell MOS to settle down, Moviebob is not going to have abortions with him.

Bob also conflates "ignorance" and "stupidity". He obviously doesn't know that ignorance is fixable (to the extent a person is willing to learn, anyway). Stupidity is forever. Ignorance isn't evil.

1658912475901.png

This gif is from the movie The Last Unicorn. Molly Grue, the human pictured here, is upset because she's seeing a Unicorn for the first time not as a young maiden, but as an older woman. This is the relevant clip in question:
So yeah, this is basically Bob at least faking outrage that the Loch Ness Monster might actually be legit now, when he's 40something, rather than when he was a kid.
Also, as a person who's actually played both Axis and Allies AND Risk, I will guarantee you Bob's never played A&A, and probably only Risk on the NES/SNES rather than the board game version. A&A is more complex and involved than Risk. My friends and I would get out TWO A&A game boards for more players, and thus we'd have "Evil Britain". I guess we were treating the secondary board as a mirror-universe or something, lol. Bob wouldn't even have enough friends to play a real game of Risk, let alone a regular game of A&A.

I think someone pointed it out in one of the many Roe v. Wade overturn threads, but one need only look back at the Hippocratic Oath to poke holes in the "we've always done abortions" argument. Relevant passage:

I'll be fair and say that not every society's physicians would have followed the Oath or even been aware of it, and even those who swore the Oath may have still chosen to perform an abortion anyway. I mean, I'm pretty sure that since he was born about 400 years before Christ, Hippocrates wasn't a Christian. And I'm pretty sure the regular Greek paganism wasn't the cause of this opposition to abortion, either. I'm pretty sure on the whole, Hippocrates was a Thinker.

This take from him is so bizarre to me because it implies that Warhammer, 40k or fantasy, is a dumbed down version of Risk. At best, Risk is a dumbed down version of Axis and Allies. Something like Warhammer, or any miniatures game for that matter, takes planning, positioning, and a plethora of other things as battles are not won by a mere rolling of the dice. It's like he heard something on discord about how chuds like the God Emperor meme and decided that Warhammer is for mouth breathing racists.

My guess is that Bob looks at Warhammer with all the cool factions and miniatures and looks at Risk with its more simple pieces and decided that Risk was the more adult game. Of course, since it's common these days to theme classic board games, 40K Risk exists. But Bob? Bob doesn't even know the basic rules of chess well enough to get the chess game in his Game Overthinker video right, so I doubt Bob would look at Risk even if it were set in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Bob should love orks. They're fungi. Fungi = Mushrooms. Orks are the closest 40k will get to Bob's glorious Mushroom Kingdom.

Every boy will be painted like Toad (poorly of course), Squighog Boyz will be riding Yoshi and Ghaz will be Mario. Instead of rolling dice he'll just jump Ghaz on his enemies until their models break.

All we'd need is somebody to paint a Koopa themed Tyranid army and watch Bob sperg out when they beat him.

In all seriousness, Bob's disdain for Warhammer probably stems from the smoothbrain take that: "The Imperium is the main faction, but they're evil fascists, therefore anybody drawn to them is also an evil fascist". Because liking something means you would definitely love to be a part of it.

It is possible, some even say desirable, to learn empathy from fictional works. The experience of any individual person is limited, and fictional works -- good fictional works -- help a person encounter realms of lives far from their immediate vicinity. The problems with Bobby are that 1) he is autistic and thus empathy deficient and 2) the shit he favors does not help develop empathy. Smartass, irrelevant quips invalidates any emotional plights that the characters find themselves in, while casual, comedic violence (think especially Birds of Prey and James Gunn's Suicide Squad and Peacekeeper) alienates the audience and prevents identification with the pain of the victims (who are often faceless and nameless anyway). These are strong empathy retardants.

To he how Bobby fails at grasping empathy in movie, look no further than The Eternals, a disposable and universally panned MCU entry that Bobby is wild about even to this day. Even I haven't seen the film I know that one of its main theme, indeed the very source of conflict, is the empathy the aliens developed towards Earthlings.

The script is shit, but the message is clear. Does Bobby identify with the aliens, who so readily identify with Earthlings? From the review he gave, in which he yammers about Wim Wenders, "huge ideas", and unspecified esoteric philosophy, I surely don't think so! Indeed he seems reluctant to see the alien characters even as honorary humans ("...characters who are themselves more heightened metaphors for aspects of the human condition than they are fully human themselves..." emphasis mine).

Bob you're irrelevant even within the already irrelevant space of turbo nerds who talk about popcorn flicks on YouTube. Your habit of drinking yourself to death would be a threat to your ability to pay rent if you weren't living on the largesse of family in your "basement apartment". It's delusional for you to think you're the superior of anyone.
"Learned empathy from movies"
No you didn't. You have never expressed empathy. You oscillate between childish excitement over baby toys and bloody-minded revenge fantasies tweeted into the digital ether from your phone, with your fat fingers, in a soggy basement. I've babysat 10-year-olds who shared their toys with others, thus demonstrating more empathy than you, at 40+, when you make rants about how you'd fuck over all of humanity for a personal jetpack.

If Bob does read this thread; I hope you cut down on drinking, Bob. You'll live longer that way, giving us more hilarious unhinged screeds.
