Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

As a long time OnA b-b-b-boy:

Arguments for a rascal doing it:
- OnA tends to have a very wide spectrum of fans. They brought on a literal half retard (Bobo) for years and it was never clear why he listened to the show or if he understood the jokes. Totally possible some moron set this up
- Slowly escalating arms race. That drunk who showed up to Hooligan's was crossing a line and wasn't really made a cow out of it. He probably should've gotten beat up a bit more

Arguments against:
- Older population. SWATing seems to be a zoomer tactic. A lot of people on the OnA boards are 35-45 and the height of the show was the early 00s
- Wackbag humor was always more about annoying people and making crude art or jokes. SWATing just isn't all that funny and it's not like you're guaranteed good audio or video out of it anyway
- Pat is a fat liar

Anyone who's crying about this getting unfeatured, why? I never thought Pat would get this infamous and he'll continue to make a fool of himself so it's not like this was his one chance to go pro cow. Plus there are the OnA forums if you really want to get more hands on.

IMO the Josiah interview tapes are funnier because you get to hear his angry gay voice. No child, yes child, shut your fucking mouth child.

System is also shit. Chicago it was giving out nearly 90% false positives. It's also known to miss shots that were actually fire. The company is also known for getting litigious in order to hide the information that their tech is shit. The fact that his city still uses it despite it's numerous flaws is a joke.
Shotspotters aren't built like they used to be.

They're built far, far better. Which means maintaining them properly is more important than ever.

i’ve looked through the police scanner archives and couldn't find the dispatch call.
If you’re referring to Broadcastify, you may have to adjust for the time where you are as opposed to the time in Milwaukee which I believe is central standard time?

Also their archives are never quite to the exact minute or second. You may have to listen a bit before or after the archive for that specific time in order to actually hear anything. That’s assuming it was dispatched over the air; sometimes people specifically request that their calls not be dispatched, ostensibly to protect themselves from any personal details mistakingly slipping out.

Patrick is the level of bull-headed retarded that he has been caught in his bullshit red-handed several times and so if he’s bullshitting now he’s not clever enough to somehow deter it from becoming known.

I am a faggot for stamping my feet and calling Dear Leader a hypocritical coward when all he’s trying to do is keep feds off his doorstep, something which I figure is much more difficult to do when you don’t actually live in the country. I am a double faggot if this does in fact turn out to be an attempted swatting. I both hope and feel it is not because of the above and because it’s much funnier that way but it was pants-on-head to have contributed to turning this thread into a tire fire.

Patrick's bathrobe now has a twitter account:

"apparently I sounded so loud and scary, our neighbors thought I was a supervisor"

:story: He thinks his squealing is scary.
I like seeing his spin in real time. It wasn't that people thought he was scary, it's that they couldn't understand why anybody who wasn't a supervisor would think shouting at cops like that was a good idea. Swatting sucks, but it's just hard for me to feel sorry for Patrick.

I felt some level of sympathy for him before I seen his spin on twitter. All of his followers are probably going to be getting copies of the audio now and the texts from the Neighborhood Thotch.

Are any of Pat’s “fans” in the Milwaukee Next Door for his neighborhood? Usually all the area cranks and rage beasts are discussed there. And on Topix if that’s still a thing (I hope it’s not).

His voice was actually chilling to me, thinking about how he probably addresses Big Niki like that on a daily basis. Just knowing how much rage this loser has pent up, I can see him fumbling with one of those guns he doesn’t know how to use. Hopefully he’d only injure himself irreparably and not actually die. We deserve our cold, sweet, creamy milk.

The atalker Twitter accounts and contact form trolls have made a lot of other people pretty angry in Rick’s name recently, so the call (assuming there was one) might only be secondarily related to the OnA.

How easy is it to make anonymous phone calls to police in those parts? If there really is a swatter, how likely is he to get caught?

I like this theory - why was the empty half-a-house the address that was called in? He's got a posting for it up that was updated two weeks ago, so it's empty (anyone looking for an apartment?), but that's public info that someone could find. Anyone who is a Rick-Head knows that's not his address and doing this would be too risky and dumb not to get that detail right. Swatting is definitely not the altalkers' MO or it would have happened already. It's a tactic for twitter losers and he's been less than gracious in his interactions there.

Pat should have addressed the negresses with more respect if he wanted to sleep soundly at night.

You know it's a landmark moment in Rickstory when he trots out a new copypasta. I remember he was already oinking some variant of "you're going to prison" at the atalker who messaged him after the audio leaked, but it looks like it took him a whole day to refine it to its current reusable form. I thought it would've been a trivial matter for a master wordsmith like piggy!

Depends on how the individual did it, and what precautions they took.

Payphone in an area with no cameras, no cameras in the general approach proximity, not using your normal voice, and wiping off all fingerprints? Practically no way to get caught.

Burner phone bought with cash from a store that doesn't have cameras and doesn't require ID? As long as you use it only for that once, in a place they can't link to you, and you dispose of it right away, very unlikely to get caught.

Then there are lots of ways to technologically anonymize yourself, but its a swampy territory. There was an Israeli teen that called in over 100 bomb threats to American Jewish Community Centers for months before the FBI managed to nail him the one time he got lazy and forgot to connect to his proxy.
So, it's either the most secure or the least secure method depending.

There are a billion more ways to fuck it up, but if the individual took the proper precautions, unless the police already have a suspicion it was you, it's very unlikely, if it's a one and done affair. Usually these things get compromised when it escalates to mass use (like in criminal enterprises and drugs).

Patrick is elated that the lady neighbor assumed he was a big time police scolding his subordinates because he's obsessed with compensating for the fact that he has power over nobody. See Torque Wheeler's make-believe title "CHIEF writer and HEAD grease monkey", it's his fantasy to be a boss. The sissy doesn't even have authority to determine his daughter's bedtime because he abandoned her. Sad!

It's even better that the rascal who contacted her for the audio made it clear that it was her creepy neighbor and not a cop. I'm not like BBQ-friendly with my neighbors but we talk enough for me to know their voice if I hear screaming outside. He must just go from home to Hooligan's and back and not interact with anyone.
