There's quite a bit of difference between "I shouldn't have quit my job because it's hard for me to find a new one" and "I was never told about the downsides of transitioning, and now my body has been fucked up beyond repair to satisfy someone else's sexual gratification". With all the doubling-down on "protecting trans kids" and "cracking eggs," I'd guess that the detrans rate will get a major rise in the coming years.
