Seems like many people associated with Elaine are involved in some sort of discord war behind the scenes and are pointing fingers at one another over who's responsible, their slapfighting has spilled over into this thread and UH's thread as well. I don't know if we can trust any of them to be honest, they all have agendas and reasons to accuse one other. I guess only Elaine herself knows who's responsible, but evidently she's either way too deep in denial to even admit it was her, or she's keeping it to herself for some unknown reason.

That's the part I don't understand, the lie about the deepfake. Even if it's to protect somebody, it's not believable at all, and she surely knows that.

She didn't know enough about current deepfake technology to know it wasn't feasible. After that it was just doubling down to the nth degree.

Perhaps. It just doesn't make sense to me, surely if somebody catfished her she'd be exposing them, not obscuring the truth and making herself look like a liar in the process? Why go out of your way to defend somebody that did this to you? That's been bugging me for the last few weeks, there's definitely some gayops afoot, things aren't adding up.

Actually now that I think about it, if she was indeed catfished on discord, there would be logs of it right? Why weren't they released by the catfish along with the nudes? Surely there would be milk there like we saw with the Nazi roleplay with Anus that was leaked? Could it be that the logs contain personally identifiable info of the catfisher? In that case surely Elaine would know who it actually is? That makes it all the more confusing why she refuses to out them.

There is probably some manner of blackmail occurring out of our sight. There may very well be something worse that she’s trying to prevent coming to light.

If she did get catfished she would probably warm up and simp at them. Every time someone is bashing on her or trolling her she starts developing an attraction for them. She has stockholm syndrome.
