I'm not vaccinated and I've been sick a lot this past year too, nothing serious, just head colds, sore throat, runny nose, I'm sick again right now, this is like the 5th time this year.. I really wonder if the lockdowns fucked with my immune system as I live alone, and didn't have contact with anyone, so no exposure to any germs really.

According to European Medicines Agency recommendations, frequent COVID-19 booster shots could adversely affect the immune response and may not be feasible. The decrease in immunity can be caused by several factors such as N1-methylpseudouridine, the spike protein, lipid nanoparticles, antibody-dependent enhancement, and the original antigenic stimulus. These clinical alterations may explain the association reported between COVID-19 vaccination and shingles. As a safety measure, further booster vaccinations should be discontinued. In addition, the date of vaccination should be recorded in the medical record of patients. Several practical measures to prevent a decrease in immunity have been reported. These include limiting the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including acetaminophen to maintain deep body temperature, appropriate use of antibiotics, smoking cessation, stress control, and limiting the use of lipid emulsions, including propofol, which may cause perioperative immunosuppression. In conclusion, COVID-19 vaccination is a major risk factor for infections in critically ill patients.

I happen to work in a place that requires weekly testing regardless of vax status, but I've managed to avoid nearly all of it by working from home. Testing only makes sense if natural immunity is recognized, and for most places, that is not the case.

It's worse than seeing someone check their horoscope or do a tarot reading before engaging in an activity because at least those ones don't result in millions of tons of medical waste that goes right to the landfill and rivers and oceans. Would love to see the Venn-Diagram of people who support going green and also are obsessed with masking and testing.

Hospitals and clinics were bad enough with this shit before and now it's cranked to 11.

The tests are free and don't report to the government. It's the least I can do if I'm gonna go hang out with my true-believer friends while actively coughing. As far as I can tell, they're never positive - probably because I have natural immunity from having Covid at the beginning of all this.

I tried to go to a clinic once during peak 'rona scare to get some medication for my bad mouth ulcer (through basic insurance coverage and such), but no the clinic don't even want me inside without vaccination, and requiring me to do a test costing about $20 first (vax just started rolling out for a few months at the time). $20 costs way more than whatever medication I needed. So off I went to the pharmacy next door to pick up some ulcer cream for a few bux, sadly no insurance claim possible. Insurance kind is kind of pointless if you can't use it.

I was also recently invited to a corporate staff dining event, the organizers required everyone to do a test to prove they are clear a day before the event. The organizer also said that everyone is required to wear masks while at the table and only take them off to eat. Did I mention it will be crowded too? Somehow food makes the virus stop or something. Yeah nah, I'm not desperate enough to sit in a face mask for hours just for free food. I also thought I could bring my new camera along to snap some pics of the event, but with all the masks on, I rather not waste my time with NPC faced zombies.

that's 622,000 of people with Bachelor's degrees or better who may well be dead in one month, and even with the removal of that pressure from job competition that category still lost ground as there are 903,000 fewer Bachelor's holding people employed this month .vs. last. You cannot explain this as people with Bachelor's and better choosing to leave the labor force voluntarily, which some will attempt to deflect this with, because on a month-over-month basis 700,000 people all-in came back into the labor force and you can't find the offset sufficient to explain this decline in the other educational groups.
