I'm not even a pewdiepie fan or anything but just looking the view count for his most recent 5 videos- 1.9 million, 2.9 million, 2.4 million, 2.7 million, and 3.7 million, how can phil sit there and imply pewdiepie is the irrelevant one in 2022 while his own videos struggle to get a thousand views?

Its kind of hilarious though that ripping on game developers and other youtubers is the thing that finally drove one of his most loyal paypigs away, since phil isn't a drama streamer and doesn't even do that kind of stuff.

I feel like DSP is treading into dangerous waters. Let me explain:

• he's slowly but surely moving away from his (shitty) gameplay content, alienating his core audience/oldschool fanbase with his ultra bad hot takes, not realizing he's often insulting the very people he relies on for financial support
• at the same time, he's trying to be "the most honest guy on the internet", which, quite frankly, is pretty much impossible without eating a ban or getting canceled at some point; all it takes is one mistake, and you're done for. If PewDiePie or any of the dozens of other high-profile Youtubers/content creators he insults on a weekly basis decides to take his ass to court for his slander or activate their fanbase to stomp on him, he's toast.
• add to that the way he handles stuff like the WWE Champions shit, and the pool of genuine supporters will dry up slowly but surely

Nevertheless, the seemingly never-ending financial life support people are offering him by keeping his head just above water is absolutely staggering, but in a normal world () only something like some rich dude's son dropping a lifetime's worth of financial support will save DSP from a sad, lonely ending.

When someone acts like they know what they’re talking about he believes them 100% of the time, like when that one chatter trolled the fuck out of him at the end of his Hard Mode SH2 playthrough by telling him he missed two ampoules near the end of the game. Mf backtracked for like 6 minutes to “prove him wrong” and then acted like he won when there were no missed items.
